Any advice for a Stone tank that leaks through the threads and gurgles a lot (and leaks into the battery terminal)? I'm using 100% VG Hypermint from BMV if that helps. It seemed to be fine the first few days except for the gurgles/occasional leaking into the battery terminal, but after a clean and dry burn to change juice it is now leaking from the tank threads too

I am having the same problem with CE3 Smokymizers. The leaking occurs as soon as I fill them up. Leakes out the battery connection and air holes. Lucky I have a LT with a sealed battery connector. I am contacting supplier to see if I can get some answers as this has happened to the first 2 that I have tried.
ps You can get a 510 to 510 adapter that is sealed to avoid getting e-juice down into your battery. Look around, they exist.

The only tank leaking issue I have is when trying to blow out the gurgles, The leaking into the batter connection has me about ready to throw this against the wall. I am vapeing 50/50 and its like its over wicking I have tried the wick fluffing to no avail I am thinking off trying to cut the wicks shorter and trying that as a last resort before it hits the wall:evil:

Didn't know there was a sealed 510 adapter...interesting...Still won't help me, though if I can't figure out the leaking around the top threads of the tube. It's almost like there's a vacuum problem or something. There doesn't seem to be any holes for pressure/vacuum release on the actual tank setup, just the center tube.

Okay, second attempt...re-cleaned and assembled and found that there is apparently a 'top' and 'bottom'...the other way leaked from the threads BAD, but this assembly was much tighter going back together, so I added juice. Minimal leaking from the threads this time, and after half a tank I'm refilling for tomorrow, and noticed a bit of juice around the threads. I'm trying some plumber's teflon tape around the threads to create my own gasket. We'll see how it goes. FYI still getting gurgling and leaking into the terminal, but only for the first 1/4 of the tank or so. I'm only filling to the bottom of the white cup part attached to the center post...what good is a 5 ml tank if you can only fill to 3 ml?

if you want problem free vaping experience, these tanks arent for you. i got 2 of them and both gave me enough troubles to the point that they sit and collect dust. you cant lay them flat over-night without leaking and the gurgle is a well known problem with these as well. some are very happy with these but.....i am used to fill and go, not having to worry how im placing my pv and not having to worry what juice im putting into it.

OK...I was running BMV Hypermint 100% VG before, a few dry hits and the aforementioned gurgles, etc. Today after my rebuild yesterday I'm running High Caliber Blue Ice 50/50. Only a few gurgles throughout the day, AND I had it laying on it's side for a good portion of the time I wasn't using it to check on the seal after my teflon experiment. No leaking at all, either. I'm all out of the Blue Ice after filling it, so I'm going to retry the Hypermint until I get my order from Vixen Vapors in a few days (60/40 blends). Will update...

Just an FYI - if you're leaking at the threads, try taking it apart and flipping the tube...also, the teflon tape I'm using is about $1 at most stores if you want to try... Good luck...here's hoping it continues to work after the switch to Hypermint...the tank should run empty sometime tomorrow. Stay tuned.........:vapor:

OK...disassembled, cleaned and dry burned after the Blue Ice was gone. Reassembled (teflon tape still intact on top seal) and filled with hypermint. 100% fine so far! Maybe on rev.3 they should put a seal ring on the top like they did on the bottom?! I like what someone else said about the 4 wicks like the Grande, too. Anything that makes higher VG juices work well is good IMO. BTW - left it on it's side all day today, and NO LEAKS!

One more update....4 days and 1 refill of the Stone. Still no leaks (original teflon tape), and for some reason NO dry hits until today when I began running low on 100% VG Hypermint. I did have a little gurgling, but no flooding like before. For some reason sealing it at the top with the teflon tape seems to have corrected whatever was going on. (Maybe look into that, Badkolo?)

I will HAVE to try this. I even have some teflon tape, somewhere in my garage!

Same here. I really wanted to like this tank, it's a great design, but it suffers from dry hits and gets gurgly. Mine never leaked, but it never "broke in", and had the same issues as a vision ii carto. No matter what, it just doesn't wick for me. Why they didn't go to the 4-wick design like the Grande, I'll never know.
