I would love to buy one of these. And have some friends that would like it to.

Waiting for gus' response before I pay my invoice; hopefully he got my message and doesn't think I'm just not paying :(

Send a reminder pls. And write simple english, as simple as possible. Any sentence with more than five words will not be understood ;)

That 14500 Lord-16 looks awesome, My question is, are 14500 batteries antiquated or becomeing obsolete? I havent seen any upgrades in the battery world for 14XXX series in awhile.

14xxx mods will always be there. There's a specific purpose for them and the it's own fan following. Which is why the following are so successful:

1. GP-Piccolo (in two formats, with three finishes)
2. Ba Gua (in two formats)
3. Chi Sleek (in two formats)
4. ST Simplicity (in two formats)
5. The Leo, by Delanie Mods (in four finishes)
6. Novice Dripper Hybrid
7. The Vaper Genesis Hybrid

Just that in this length & OD nothing much can be done inside the battery, so the mAh is yet limited with the 14xxx batts. Nonetheless, AW and Efests give us the IMRs in 14500 & 14650, while Panasonic, LG and Samsung make 14xxx LiPo batteries, which can also be used in our mods unless we don't go below 1.1Ω (I use them).

Here are mines:

The problem I see with 14500 mods is the lack of good, rebuildable, reasonably-priced tanks for them. I personally dislike genesis style tanks (which those, and drippers, seem to be all that's available), and prefer the Kayfun/Russian style. When I run 5-6 Kayfun's at a time (I need to switch-up flavors a lot to keep me off cigs), there's no way I'm going to have $1,000 worth of Kayfun mini 2.1's laying around for a 14500 mod.

So since I've always been interested in 14500 size mods, I've been researching and testing out 14500 size RTA's with the hopes I'll like one, and be able to use something smaller than the 18650/18500 mods I have right now. But so far haven't found anything acceptable that I would use all day long.

There's the clone Taifun GS (which IMO, is still a pale comparison to the Kayfun), but with the GS being something like 3.5" long with drip-tip, and it tapers in diameter, it's not really a sleek match for any 14500 mod, and really defeats the point of having a small mod like a 14500 if it's something crazy like 7" long overall.

The only one that interests me beyond the above is the Dream BT804 (quasi-clone of Kayfun mini), which seems to be out of stock everywhere (unless I want to pay $40 shipping from England for a ~$20 item).

For the Gus offering, if I'm understanding the pictures of the Aiolos-T correctly, it seems to be very similar in function to something like an Aqua, and will probably vape similar to that. The Aqua is pretty decent to me (but vapes more like a genny style than a Kayfun), is still nowhere near the flavor and vapor I get from a Kayfun, so I'll continue my search.

For performance on the 14500 mods, as long as you don't go under 1 ohm, you'll be fine with a 14500 mod using AW batteries (I'm usually at 1.2-1.5 ohm so that's perfect for me).

1. Dream BT804 is a 20mm atty, thus unfit for for 14xxx mods.
2. While on 14xxx mods, GP Spheroid (16mm) is unavoidable (similar is the Gus Aiolos series).
3. If one likes gennys, AGT (Titanium) is fantastic at 17mm (fits the Ba Gua like a glove).
4. GG Penelope is one that cannot be beat as well. It's current v3 goes w/out NR wire.
5. A cheaper alternative to Penelope v1 is the Euforia, does its job pretty well.
6. Then there's also the option of Sophia, Diver v2 & Killer705 inside 'slim tanks'.

GG Pene is 17mm. I tend to use the pennys with my bagua.
I would probably go with the spheroid on the 16mm Gus lord.
Wishing someone comes out with a better 14500 battery. Carry my micro stick more often because of the 18350 advantage in power.

14500 = 18350. Same mAh, same run time. Both not good for sub-Ohms.

I know what you are saying and I use both. I can buy an 18350 ten amp batteries but can't with the 14500s. Side by side with same atty, 18350 vs 14500 show a difference in power. I don't own the ten amp 18350s at the time. Just the 18350 800 mah ones.
