So after a little over a week waiting, I finally got added to the group where the list was up for the Lord Special Edition. UGH... Just missed this beauty by few days it looks like. Any how, I do love my lord but he definitely needed an all SS brother.

About the Lord SE WK, it looks a little taller. I believe I saw a picture with both of them side by side with the regular lord being telescoped a bit while the SE wasn't at all, however their height looked the same. Pictures can be deceiving though. Does anyone know if they designed it to be completely collapsed with a 18500 battery or am I just delirious and seeing things?

I hope everyone that got in on the SE models enjoy them as much as I enjoy my Gus Lord.

Gus Telescopic mods are meant for 18350 mode when completely collapsed. It is the same with Lord, D-Knight & W-Knight.

That's what I was thinking. I was able to hunt down that picture. This is why I questioned those new mods. It does look like the Lord and kiss are sitting just a little bit higher but they are both extended to some degree. It definitely seems like they would be quite a bit shorter if collapsed completely from this picture, does it not?

Thanks again

^Yes, it does seem so. That pic makes the DK & WK taller. Hang on there - let me cross check with Gus and come back to you (b'coz I don't have a DK or WK, mine's on the way).

Yep, in 18350 mode the DK & WK both are taller than the regular Lord or the Kiss. This is b'coz the DK & WK's middle 'rings' are a little wider (a design effect).

However, in 18500 and above modes they are of the same size (length) as the current tele-mods of Gus.

I see. I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for one, preferably the WK.

Ooh I like the switch and topcap on that knight se. ......where would i get one from, and for how much?

It's a Special Edition for the French FB group. They had a 'list' running. Only 20 will be made. After that the regular d-Knight would be offered at Gus' site, with the switch as in my 1st pic.

Not sure if this is listed on the gus site or not yet but I am ready for one :)

1) Gone is the conical 'nut' as the negative contact, it is a "screw" now.
2) The ball-bearings are no more in contact with the lock ring or housing body.
3) Fits our Lord and the Kiss.
4) Ready in a week.

That's a shame, I like the look of the topcap and switch on the limited edition one, which reminds me GUS hasn't sent out a replacement switch for the kiss yet, looks like I'm going to have to email them.

If you ever want to get sell it would you give me first option?

FIY there are also G22 models with Lord finish, just received one in 18650 (#72)
It's essentially a non telescoping Lord AFAIK.

One thing to keep in mind about those: you can't use the nemesis pin in place of the fuse since once you have screwed the pin to make contact with the atomizer you don't have anything to compensate for battery size (I reckon you telescope the Lord and the Kiss to compensate, didn't think about that.)

BTW I've had the switch negative contact screw break inside the button while unscrewing the switch (a new one is on its way free of charge.)
It seems this is a frequent occurence, I stumbled on a GUS thread on a french forum where 3 users reported the same problem.
So, i'd advise to be very gentle if you unscrew the switch, just in case...
