It reminds me of how most toothpaste commercials start. Some actor in a lab coat carrying a stack of official looking paperwork says "clinical studies prove...." But no detail beyond that.

You have to understand why this dreck gets published and by whom. It's put out by paid liars on behalf of those who are determined to keep smokers from switching to vaping and costing them still more money in tobacco revenues. Certain states took big money from big tobacco to look the other way about smoking killing people, then those states spent the money before they even had it in hand, whereupon tobacco revenues shrunk drastically because so many switched to vaping, and that money continues to dry up. Hence those who's interest is served by the sale of cigarettes is seriously threatened by smokers switching to vaping in large numbers, and so the paid liars churn out articles like this one trying to scare smokers away from vaping while at the same time ginning up public hatred against vaping.

Strange, they're using ecigs as fuel for their own very obviously anti-FDA agenda. I wonder what the FDA did to piss them off.

Kind of puts greater perspective on why the FDA eventually has to make some kind of call. They're taking fire from all sides. Wouldn't want to be them.

Well..."E-cigarettes are being used by hundreds of thousands of underage children". That's a pretty irrefutable unsubstantiated claim right there. We should definitely ban ourselves just based on that.

I would bet that this is accurate though. However, I can guarantee that more underage kids smoke cigarettes, drink booze and smoke/ingest illegal substances than vape.

Wow, i read the article and ran to the local party store and bought a pack of cigs. Thanks for the heads up.

Vaping is growing briskly in spite of this kind of garbage. Smoking makes you poor and sick, but it doesn't make you stupid.
