The second one pictured does it work as tank atty and dripper I see the tank piercing part but it looks like you could leave it out for just dripping.

one is a tank style , you rebuld the atty screw it together and fill the tank cartridge and drop into place, the other is strictly for dripping and is rebuildable as well.

Thats just the air hole like you would normally find in the threads of an atomizer/cartomizer.

I think you may have the pictures of these atomizers mixed up. This one came from the Philippines and is called the Phoenix rebuildable atomizer. If you go to Grimm Greens youtube page you can find more information. When I first saw this the originator was looking some US distributors and there are 2 selling them here in the states.

The one posted in the first picture is simply made for dripping, although it does have a deep drip well and should allow you to add more drips thus allowing you to vape more between dripping. Hope this helps.
