Hi everyone,

Relatively new to the vaping community (6 months). Changed my atomizer in my TFV12 tank, nothing abnormal or done differently from the multiple other times I have done this. Primed the atomizer, filled the tank and let it sit overnight (while batteries charging externally). Popped the batteries in this AM, mod never prompted for a new coil vs old, and wouldn't fire. Screen noted "Ohm too low", then started firing intermittently every couple of seconds for only about 0.4 seconds without me touching the trigger. Detached tank, clicked trigger to try and recognize that tank was detached "check atomizer", retried with tank attached still no prompt for new atomizer, and same symptoms of intermittent firing. Have a friend with a Smok alien 220w and a Tfv4 tank. We swapped tanks, both fired as should and asked whether coil was new vs old when first attached. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

To me, it's likely to be a mod issue, since your friend's tank is different, it may be able to work well enough on your tank if it's drawing less power from your mod, while your tank is somehow not working with your mod.... Did you try switching your coil? Some of the coils for that product can be a bit finicky from what I've gathered, but I don't use smok products, so I'm not 100% on which coils were at issue...

I'd say if the problem continues, might want to return to where you purchased it, see if they can help, if not you may need a replacement mod?

Best of luck,

Anna
