Thanks you guys. I don't usually use sub-ohm devices, could that be the problem?

I used to buy from one vendor online, and they went out of business. Their juices were 60PG/40VG. Now I have to go to the retail shops around Chicago, and all they seem to have are the high VG stuff.

I forgot to say, the vape shop had me buy an Aspire Breeze, which I think is sub-ohm? Then there's the whole mouth to lung thing, which I think I have been doing. The Breeze, I am supposed to inhale right to the lung? All this new stuff is confusing for an old vaper like me.

I think I am going to just get some nicotine gum. Maybe this is God's way of telling me that 6 years of vaping is enough! Seriously, there's got to be a respiratory problem from vaping and we are kidding ourselves if we tell ourselves there isn't.
Don't think the gums gonna do it for you, myself have gone back to where i came in, after a good few years of sub ohm vaping started to develop tinnitus,so now 1ohm coil 12watts 12mg nic v/g 10% water, now all is good,
so this is worth a try, lets hope you don't go back to the nasty sticks.

If there were no issues until you starting using higher VG liquids in subohm setups, then that's the likely cause. I suspect vaping isn't the problem, just that particular style.

I found anything over 50% VG gives me the same symptoms and have avoided it for years without any other problems cropping up. The majority of vapers may not have an issue with high VG and subohm direct to lung vaping, but thankfully there are great choices for those of us that do.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just go back to a MTL setup, at your former VG/PG mix? I agree with everyone saying that also, maybe sub0hm devices aren't the way to go, as it's far more vapor being inhaled, and typically folks do use more VG in their mixes. You can just buy a bottle of PG and dilute your current juice to see if that WORKS. Yes you'll have less nic, but it would mainly be to find out if that is the issue.... There are tons of vendors who will mix you the VG/PG strength you desire, at whatever nicotine strength you desire. You can also DIY juices at a lower flavoring percentage, if you are worried about inhalation issues. I think you just ran into a setup and ratio that are messing with you.

I couldn't use PG almost at all, I'm sensitive to it on inhale, but I went to 100% VG juices and it was fine. I DIY so I have control over my ingredients, and I have no symptoms of anything....

If you want to try the gum, that is obviously up to you, but had I let my early experiences stop me from figuring out the problem, then vaping, I'm fairly certain the gum wouldn't work for me, traditional nic pharmaceutical options have not tended to work for me. But, you could try it. It's expensive, you'll at least be chewing something but you won't get the same hand to mouth action.

I *do* understand being worried about vaping giving chest sx, but it is not at all uncommon, and there are remedies for it, so it may be worth trying a MTL setup (there are still some great new options out there) and lowering your VG. Of course, I am not a doctor nor a scientist, so you are going to have to do what is right for you.

The Breeze is not very good for MTL with the sub ohm coil and too large an air hole. It’s been discussed here that they now realize this through customer feedback. They are supposedly developing an above ohm coil for it, which might improve the device a lot.
If you want to try MTL with the Breeze, take your finger and partially block the air hole on the side.

Where do you buy your juices? That's the exact feeling I have too, Izan.
Sorry, I DIY.
However, adding a few Ml of PG to some retail "MAX VG" juice is a great way to stretch your juice dollar and get your feet wet with a "bit" of DIY.

Best of luck

What's going on? Could it be the high VG in juice? I've been vaping a long time. I never coughed from vaping until around 6 months ago when I started using high VG juices. I hate this!!! All I do is cough and clear my throat now. It's so bad I think I have to quit vaping altogether :(

I get the same thing with 50/50 juice. I use 70/30 and up the pg a little more in the winter.
