Hey everyone this is my first post here, Im new to vaping and so far I like it alot. I've been smoking for a few years and I want to get away from it, or at least get my nic in a little bit safer way. My girlfriend got a Njoy Ncig penstyle about a week ago and I like it alot. I ordered a dse901 for Altsmoke.com on tuesday night, and from the tracking it looks like I will get it tomorrow. I also bought some juice from thesmokesafe.com the same day and already recieved it today. I bought strawberry low and menthol high and I love them both. Im trying to figure out the hackomatic to make more of the strawberry. Here is what I have so far

The size I want is 5ml just for a tester
The amount of nic anywhere from 10-15mg

I still want to have a strong flavor with out it being diluted to much

water - 10%
flavoring - 10%
vg - 40%
commercial e-liquid - 40%

And I would be buying unflavored 36mg eliquid.

The other questions I had was, is my bottle of strawberry that I have right now the flavoring or the commercial e-liquid? If it is the flavoring that seems kinda weak because the flavor isn't super strong as it is.

Is there a way to buy say a 10ml bottle of juice and double it somehow with the same strength of flavor. Or does anyone know of a seller that has a really sweet and strong tasting brand that they could recommend, It doesn't just have to be strawberry either, I like anything sweet or fruity that has a nice bold flavor. Well this post is long enough as it is, so I'll end it here. Thanks in advance for the help:)

I'm not sure of your first question. Are you saying the spreadsheet isn't working for you? Or perhaps you don't really understand it yet.

When the seller says e-liquid or juice you should be getting commercial e-liquid. Since thesmokesafe doesn't have juice product photos on their site I can't tell you any more about their juice. Not all juices have strong flavor.

If you dilute the juice with other non-flavored product then you dilute the flavor (as with any liquid). If you then want more flavor, you have to add it back yourself with flavoring such as LorAnn or Bickford. And the more flavoring etc. you add, the more you dilute the nicotine strength. Hence the hackomatic you're already using (it appears).

There's a forum section of juice reviews as well as the section you've probably been reading of recipes.

If you're not understanding how to use the spreadsheet, I can give you a quick overview:

First input your starting strength - you said 36 mg.

Then input your batch size - you said 5 ml.

Then just play around with the "% of total" number for each ingredient you plan to use, making sure it adds up to 100% (zero out any ingredient you don't plan to use).

Voila - you will see the resulting nic strength change as your percentages change, and when you find the one you want, over to the right you will see how much of each ingredient you actually need to use, in both drops and milliliters.

Edit: I just input the percentages you posted, and the resulting nic strength is 14.4.

If you try it and find it's too weak in flavor, just increase that and decrease something else, like the water.

I think I'm understanding the spreadsheet, I'm just not understanding the actual mixing of everything. But Im still reading through a bunch of posts about it before I order any mixing juices.

If you try it and find it's too weak in flavor, just increase that and decrease something else, like the water.

But if I increase flavor and decrease the water will it be thin enough or too thick?

No probably wouldn't be too thick - as the flavor itself is a liquid, and almost always much thinner than glycerine.

Glycerine in a high percentage relative to the rest of your mixture is what might result in a need to thin with water (or alcohol, as some use instead), but when it is ~40% or less, than you can probably get away with no water at all.
