Had my perfect vape all along!

Well I've been playing with different setups for months, you know how it is. A bit more flavour, a bit more vapour, always searching for that perfect all day vape.
Dual coils, micro coils, twisted coils, vertical, horizontal, lol, the list goes on. So I'm sat there with a dual twisted 0.5 set up in my Tobh V2 on a stingray blowing out HUGE clouds of tasty vapour....but...not quite right...of course.

Then I had a strange thought...how did I vape before? So I built a simple 1.6 micro/cotton wick setup in my Kayfun Lite, filled it with a simple diy apple/strawberry juice and stuck it on my Nemesis with a fresh battery....wow! There it is!! That's the vape I was looking for!!

Don't get me wrong, it was fun experimenting with different setups and I'm sure I'll continue to do so but I just wanted to pop in and say, sometimes the simplest set up works the best

Here here...... I go all out making twisted/parallel/etc coils on the magma and plumeveil. It vapes good and well. However I still find myself going back to my trusty kayfun lite with a 1.4ohm 28g chimney coil .

I think the endless search for the perfect vape is endless because very few try to establish an exact set of criteria that defines "the perfect vape".

Funny, I found my "sweet spot" shortly after I started vaping (2011) with an old eGo battery and a LR 510-T atomizer. (modified for dripping) So I then went on the crazy never ending search for the 'bigger & better', but I always ended up making the 'bigger & better' vape just like that old eGo and LR 510-T.
So in the end, the vape I enjoy hasn't changed all that much, I've just found more efficient ways to do it.

I ALWAYS go back to my simple micro coil in the kayfun. I have yet to find anything that satisfies me as much as a simple micro coil in a kayfun. I can blow clouds at .25 ohms, and it still doesn't do it for me like the kayfun does.. Maybe its the tight draw, and doing mouth to lung hits... Who knows.

I've tried it all. First drippin' 510 atties then 306's and finally the ceramic cup dripper pro rebuilables after bulk purchases of joyetech 306 atties became impossible. So that is my perfect dripper on any of my devices as I can make the coil any resistance I like. No fiddly tanks, dual coil, genesis, kayfun nonsense just tasty vapor.

Oh and by the by, when the coil gets gunked up from all the heavy VG juice I use I just take the ceramic cup out and hit it with a torch, blow off the ash, juice up n go.

Yep, a lot of times the simpler the better. That's what works for me.

K.I.S.S. principle! I can't wait til I get into rebuildables. It just seems like it makes sense. I'm feeling like a doomsday-er today, and I see this as being self-sufficient without any fuss. Congrats on the perfect vape, op!

I've gone through my progression of batteries and toppers (cig-alikes to MVPs; 510 cartridges to kayfuns) Keep "thinking" I want something "more". Just don't know what that "MORE" is....

I rebuild my coils for my EVOD tanks, wick 'em with cotton or cellucotton. Just recently started turning up the wattage, and POOF - decent clouds, good flavor.... I'm not smoking cigarettes anymore, so

Sometimes less is more for sure. I just like the flavor that a single 1.5 to 1.8 ohm microcoil and cotton gives me on a Kayfun or dripper.
