Hades Copper owners!

Hey,

I just got my Hades Copper clone in today and have a couple of questions to people that have it.

The actual button itself turns either side indefinitely as well as the "ring screw" thing that makes contact with the battery, any way to stop that by tightening down somehow? I seem to loose contact with the battery every couple of hours because of that...

Secondly, can I actually buy magnets? I hate the spring on this, it's not hard, I can press it down fine, it just feels cheap and crap.

Which company made your clone?
Mine is a Tobeco clone. It came with springs and a set of magnets.

Ok, I've been vaping on this all day and it's pretty hot today so my hands are a bit sweaty and this just happened.



This is after I washed my hands, so it's not as strong, not sure you can see it correctly, but basically the section of my hand where I grip as well as my thumb and index finger turned blue or greyish color... Is that normal from copper or is it still dirt in it?

Copper shows patina very quickly.
It's normal. It's just the way copper reacts to oxidation.

Ok thanks! Just one more question and it might sound ridiculous?

Would it be ok for me to boil the tube? Because the threads on it are horrendously black, I did a very thorough wash with hot water and soap, then ultrasonic bath and then qtips with alcohol and they're still pretty black, the threads on top and bottom cap are excellent, it's just the tube

Remove all the plastic parts and disassemble.
It's copper.
Water won't hurt it.
I use dawn dish soap and a soft sponge( or toothbrush) to keep threads clean.

Ok thanks! One more thing, do you or anyone knows how to remove the big transparent plastic ring that's in the base? near the negative contact, I cannot for the life of me remove it :/

The lower plastic ring is held in place with an o ring.
Gently pry/lift it out.

Ok, thanks! I absolutely cannot do it though because I can't even remove the lower contact screw from the fire button, so it's impossible to pry it as I don't have needle nose pliers with me to remove that contact screw.

Can replacement parts such as these plastic rings be obtained from somewhere?

I've got an hcigar hades clone. Mine came with magnets but I had to switch them out with the spring. To get the plastic ring out I got my finger nail in a groove of the ring near the top and applied pressure to pull it out while turning the base to work it out...took a couple of minutes but I got it.

Damn, I tried that even with tweezers and it makes a weird noise like I'm about to break it. Mine didn't come with magnets I'm not sure if it's Hcigar but it's the exact one from the picture I posted, same box and everything.

Were you able to tighten the contact ring down enough so the button doesnt spin?

To the guys that own an Hcigar. Does it say on the box or anywhere that is Hcigar? I have absolutely no way knowing that on mine... I don't know, for some reason I started thinking if mine might not even be fully copper but copper plated instead or something like that.
Yesterday I was sweating from my palms like crazy due to the scorching heat and at the end of the day my hand was super green/black does that mean the copper is low quality or something or is it fully inevitable in copper unless it's coated? And it didn't come at all like the pictures, it came pretty dirty, I washed it in warm water with soap, then ultrasonic cleaner and then it was still not looking that clean so I boiled it with salt and white vinegar (used to clean copper very well) and it didn't improve much? It's mainly the inside of the tube that is pretty much very dark colored and black in places, the threads on the main tube are super dark as well, tried cleaning with cotton buds and isopropyl, didn't to much.

All the reviewers have great looking ones etc, mine didn't come like that at all from the box. The botom logo isn't superb textured as well like some I've seen.

Edit: this one looks exactly like mine, same box as well.
