As I always I enjoyed the company of all. I hope the exposure yesterday will pay dividends. Talking to the owner at the end of the meet and it appears it was a success and a welcomed addition in the future. Jay you will have to see if Phil will allow public vaping in his establishment on a smaller scale e.g a vape friendly tea shop vice an organised group, where we as individuals would drop in for a spot of tea and enjoy a good vape whilst doing it.

For easternpassage, from now on EP, I hope we were helpdful with our information, you seemed to be enjoying yourself. I hope we were able to show you a way to enjoy nicotine without the deadly habit of tobacco, and if some day vaping gets you of the nic, well that is just added bonus. I hope you do consider vaping as an alternative in the future, we are here to help you my good man ]

i would like to thank jay for organizing this event. this event has made my decision on starting vaping. look forward to the next meet. for anyone who is thinking about starting vaping in order to stop anologs i suggestion going to one of these meets.

definately want to see us do this monthly... second saturday of the month seems as good as any.

chelly, you're on deck, score us a definate booking at WharfWraps in Eastern Passage and we'll all meet there on the 10th of March.

I have a phone number to contact the person in charge of standing reservations for the upstairs and will call her today given the opportunity. I would love to do it on Saturday but it would be a lot easier for us to get it for free if we were to do it on Mon, Tues, or Wed because those are their slowest days and we'd be bringing in a lot of biz that they otherwise wouldn't have. As well, in the summer, they're a line-up out the door type of restaurant and they don't take reservations, especially on the weekend. So we'd definitely be best off for a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for a standing once a month reservation of the upstairs.

Let me know what ya'll think about your availability on Mon, Tues or Wed from about 5-9pm (they close @ 9pm so I plan on telling her we'll not order food past 8:30 and be out by 9 sharp to be courteous). Remember this is only 1 night a month so if you work those days, I understand, let me know what day would be easiest for you to sneak out a bit early and join us. I will take everyone's suggestions and availability into consideration before calling this lady.

I like the idea of being able to have a dedicated location that will be able to accomodate a growing number of vapers as we go. For that reason, I think that as you suggested, choosing a 'slow' night would better suit our (and the location's) needs! See what they can give us Chelly!

wednesday nights are completely out for me... i have to bring my daughter to Sparks and then get her home.

if we did it during the week, i'm just thinking that the availability for those who have to drive in and home from outside of the HRM core would be diminished...

Hahaha, a valid point but I think that is a 'minor' consideration at this point. I'd like to see us build membership from local vapers (in HRM) who may not even be aware of ECF. I'm positive that there have to be more vapers around than we're aware of!

my only concern on those nights is that i will need a ride out to outlying areas cause a bus would take too long and i would have to only be able to stay for a couple hours since i would need a sitter and they're not cheap.

To be honest, whatever night Wharf Wraps agrees to let us hold a meet, is fine with me. I don't think that we can afford to be too choosy right now. It would be different if we had a 'pool' of establishments from which to choose and could dictate which night of the week we wanted to hold a meet...but such is not the case. I'm willing to be flexible so that we can get our meets up and off the ground.

I couldn't make the meeting, had to work. How was it? I know the weather wasn't that good that day. I hope everything worked out great.
I will defiantly be attending the next one. Any ideas on when and where? I read the comments about wharf wraps and a good friend of mine works there if there isn't already a point person on it.

The meet was fantastic and my boyfriend works at Wharf Wraps, who do you know that's there? I know everyone by proxy Since the opinions are in now, I'll be calling the contact I have for booking it tomorrow to arrange a monthly reservation for us. Wish me luck!

My mechanic and really good friend Jeff's girlfriend Ronda. I have gotten the 2 of them into vaping the ego's and she said that there are a few others that work there vaping.
I think a monthly is a great idea. Maybe even have a weekday one and then a weekend one every 2 weeks? Would that help everyone with the schedules get a chance to make it out? Just a suggestion. I think its great that there is this much interest in vaping here. I think a flavor swap would be fun too! trading that is, in order to try new ones. It seams everytime I look there are about another 1000 kinds.
FYI if anyone has "butter" that they want to trade with me, KEEP IT I can't think of a less appetizing flavor to try than that. lol
