Hallo All
My name is Octa
I live in Flanders.
I really like the discussions on this forum.
It helped me a lot in choosing what to buy and what to do.

I'm been vaping for 1 week now, with the Volcano Inferno.
For me it does the trick, it suppress the nicotine
Withdrawal symptoms very well.

I bought several samples from paradisevapeuk and must admit I don't like the tastes of the ejuices that much,
I love real tobacco taste but none of the tobacco flavored ejuices come close to the real thing, it all taste like sweet honey/syrup to me.
But the ones with a high PG content give me a nice throat hit and kill the nicotine withdrawer for a
Reasonable amount of time so I'm OK with that. It must be healthier than the traditional cigarette, so if I'm only heave to give up tobacco "taste" I'm OK with that.

Or do they exist, real tobacco taste e-juices without that honey/syrup overtone ?

The Volcano Inferno itself works very well, but I don't like the amount of air I need to suck through the machine when taking a drag.
It really spoils the throat hit and forces me to take many drags, it's almost necessary to breathe for a short period of time through the damn thing to get satisfied.

It's like an analog cigarette with tiny holes or cracks in it.
My brother has a cheap Japanese e-cig and that doesn't heave this problem.
So what I did to reduce this problem:
I've done some tape around the air holes, leaving one open where I can lay a finger on when taking a drag.
This way I can adjust the amount of air needed to my feeling when taking a drag.

Now were I really worry about is the fact
there are a lot of tiny drops of (condensed?) e-juice in the mouthpiece and I'm certain some of them reach my lips
When taking a drag. I taste the syrup always when smoking trough the e-cig.
As far as I know e-juice getting in contact with the skin or mouth/lips
Is very dangerous and highly toxic.(even worse than smoking traditional sigs!)
The E-Cigarette

I tried filling up the mouthpiece with cottonwool,
but that doesn't work out, it stops to much nicotine.

Anyone else with this e-juice problem & what to do about it?

Regards
Oct

Welcome to the forum. Keep in mind what I'm saying now is only my opinion(I'm not an expert). Tobacco flavor is very subjective and rather elusive. Finding a juice that tastes exactly like a cig is probably impossible. The closest I come to it is with diy. I use pg/vg mix with 1 or 2 percent "tobacco" flavoring and very little else. Go easy on all the other add-on flavors. As for draw that can vary depending on device and atomiser / cartomiser used. Lastly I use diy juice in the 20mg range and have had no side effects from coming into contact with it on my skin at all. Keep in mind that plain old table salt is also "toxic" in a high enough concentration.

Howdy and welcome fellow Volcano user. I started with the Inferno as well. Are you using the Tube Tank? I found that it's certainly not the most user friendly tank type.

Assuming you are, I was advised to cover one of the air holes to heat up the coil a bit more. That is with the collar around the threads. Also, you're using the 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos, not the 3 ohm, right? Also it helps to push the button for about one second before beginning your draw. Then I draw for about 8 seconds, letting go of the button about a second before I finish the draw.

Proper priming of cartos is essential to getting a good hit as well. I never could get that down quite right without either drying or flooding the carto. There is also wicking time necessary to resoak the fiber fill in the carto between drags.

Carto tanks are quite popular and provide a good hit but there is a learning curve involved. You could also get a clearomizer tank or a drip cartridge system from any number of vendors. There are tons of options priced relatively cheaply and they're much easier to use. The thing with Volcano is that you'll have to get a 510/eGo adapter for a lot of the tanks, but those are also easy to get and inexpensive.

Whatever you find, I wish you the best.

I assume you are using the tube tank on the inferno? Try a tankomizer or clearomizers. The tube tank does make me feel like I'm drawing way too much air and doesn't produce that much vapor. I personally use a tankomizer on my inferno, nice easy draws, great TH and great vapor production way better than the tubetank

Still new myself to Inferno - you mention 510/eGo adapter - any pointers on where to get appreciated.
I have the tank and carto - works pretty good but I would like to try "dipping" so I can trade between different flavors without emptying tank and re-prime action. If I could get some direction on what tip and adapter then I would try...

Thank you,
PS - do not want to hijack this thread but you are the first one that mention adapter (that I have seen).
