Tacoma Wa,
All i can tell is that the connector area is different .
The volcano one has a narrow top below the connecter and uses a little rubber o-ring to hold the cone on.
The revolver one has a cone that has a plastic type band inside the cone to slide over the battery.

Then i have seen the ones that are threaded that screw on.

The two different manufacturers created these differently. The way the cone covers the atomizer greatly affects the performance. The vgo just seems to perform alot better than the ego types. Our Talon model would be the closest to the inferno, except without the o ring problem. As with all things, when you have more components, that's just one more part that can break and need replaced. The vgo solves this issue by incorporating the rubber seal and the cone into 1 piece. This is part of the reason why the vgo outperforms(arguably) even the Talon. The other reason of course is the quality of the atomizer.

The reason you probably thought they were the same thing is because they copied the line design from the vgo and put it on their ego.

There actually IS a kgo lol.

Your inferno batt should be 3.7v. I believe most of if not all of the bigger battery pv devices are or claim to be.

While you may also believe that the differences are minor, I would invite you to try our Vgo and see the comparison for yourself. I myself have an inferno that I have used to compare.

oops I ment vgo lol

I believe the inferno is a 3.7 volt but it is regulated at 3.2 volts for consistency. So it isn't a true 3.7 volt device. this is the same for most ego types with the exception of the Riva SE which is 3.7 volts unregulated and the Kgo by SLB which is 4.2 volts . I would be excited to find an unregulated ego with that awesome paint job.

I would take you up on that offer however I am buying a Lavatube. My wife is already going to kill me when she finds out I am buying that :(.

In some aspects yes. If you want the Tank System get the Talon. But even though the Talon can use atomizers and drip tips in place of the tank atomizers, if you go that route get the Vgo. Many of our customers say the two best setups are the Vgo battery + atomizer + drip tip or the Infiniti Ion + drip tip.

If you want to ask ME, I would personally get the Talon due to it being something that will last me a long time between refills and recharges. But only because I like the easiest way out! My main ecig is the ION with menthol cartos.

The Ion has truly amazing flavor and vape for a small unit. I am a mad vaper though and I need big batteries! I have both the Vgo and Talon. I tend to use the Talon atties only while driving, because it is dangerous to try to drip while driving. I feel the flavor gets slightly muted when using the tank system, but it is still quite good. So for the best flavor I would drip on a Ion or Vgo atty, for hassle free vaping I use my Talon atties with the tanks.

I would love to see a variable voltage unit someday from Revolver, but I may in the minority on that one.

Tacoma Wa,
I want to get mega ego cartos but I am afraid they won't fit since these cones aren't threaded.
I have used them on my Inferno battery, they work fine.
The only threading the eGo mega cartomizer has is the 510 connection.
You might have to remove the rubber ring though to screw it on.
