Halo compatible tanks

Hello all i need help with something, I bought my dad some Halo batteries a couple of months ago and we were using the tanks that Halo sells but we started having issues with the wicks and switched him over to the Kanger T3 vgo threaded tanks but now no place sells the replacement heads for them so what i need to know is can someone recommend another type of vgo threaded tank that will work on the Halo's (going back to the Halo tanks is not an option). I did switch him to some ego batteries and was able to buy the t3s tanks so it's not like he is going without I just don't want the Halo batteries to be useless.

Welcome! :D

SI has a new T3 called "T3 BDC", where only the coil assembly is replaced, not the whole bottom part of the tank.

They have them in stock, along with replacement heads, as well as replacement assemblies for your T3 (I think their shipment arrived last night).

I'd love to hear more about your wick problem.

Yeah, please explain your wick problems, I have never had a problem with mine.
Are you burning them?
Using Pure VG juice?

In my 2 months I have only burnt 3, due to my own mistakes, occasionally I will have to blow out a tank if it sits too long and the head gets flooded, take off tank, clean battery terminal, blow thru tank into a paper towel and wipe any juice up that is on the bottom post

no my problem is when I try to clean the wicks they fall apart

Yeah, the wicks can become unraveled. But it's easy to not have that happen. I just soak them in hot water, then (if they needed it) rinse them in running hot water. If they come unraveled you can twist them back into place.

If you really want to use different tanks on halos batteries, you might be able to find a 808 to 510 thread adapter. Halo uses the 808 threading and pretty much everyone else uses 510 threading.

AFAIK, no non halo tank fits on a Halo battery without an adapter.

If you want Kanger T3 heads, they are all over ebay.

But the issue I see is this. If your wicks are falling apart, you are cleaning them wrong, or too vigorously. Gentle rinse, taking the top wick out if needed. You know, the sillycone condom comes off, then the little easy to lose down the drain silver top pops off. That's how you get the top wick back in. DON'T remove the bottom wick.

Good luck with other tanks. There are so many who try them, and after leaks, dry hits, poor wicking, gurgling and poor vape, return to the Triton. I would heavily reconsider the decision that the Triton is not an option. But some people have to learn the lesson just like Dorothy did.

Totally agree, JD. I've lost one head (my first, after the voodoo!!) The others are fine after 3 months. And the one I trashed? the coil still worked, the wick had a glob of burned on goo I couldn't remove, lost patience with it, and tossed. Denture cleaner might have helped.

Also, to the OP, either use the Triton tanks, or sell the batteries.

SI sells two variations of the T3; both fit our Tritons, without adapters. ;)

The inconvenient part, is that one of the T3 model's coil assembly, is part of the base, so getting a "replacement coil" for it, also means replacing the base of the tank. SI's been out of stock on these (they just got'em back in 2 days ago).

The newer T3 version (BDC) doesn't require that one replaces the whole bottom assembly. The coils aren't cheap, but they are universal, eGo or vGo.
