Well, the wife has taken the plunge to buy a halo system of her own. 
We're looking over the site and we both say it would be so awesome to be able to pick and choose for a sample pack. She wants to try a couple of menthols, I'd like to try a couple of gourmet, but neither of us thought we'd want everything in the packs on the site.
But she's on board now... I think we'll be perusing their site for flavor experiences again, soon enough.
