So...Halo Fusion is tucked away in a cozy little corner of the site and I'm surprised it doesn't get more Love in this Forum. See: Fusion E-Liquid | Halo Cigs

Description: Halo Fusion is our premium unflavored nicotine base e-liquid, and is made to the same strict standards as our other eliquid products. Fusion produces the same smooth throat hit and vapor production as our standard smoke juice, but allows you to create your own flavors at your own strengths. It can also be used to spice-up some of your existing Halo e-juice.

I think it would be fantastic to share tips on how we use this nic base. Believe it or not it even comes in 36 MG strength!!! One way I use it is part of my AM vape rotation. An empty stomach and coffee to start the day. I have a plastic 30 ML bottle with a very approximate/rough mix of 50% Longhorn and Fusion @ 18MG plus spikes of Carmel Candy from another source @ 18MG. This produces a lot of tobacco flavor and the Carmel notes are still present but not as strong as my PM vapes. I've also used Fusion to "cut" some Halo juice that were a little to harsh when I first started vaping.

What I want to try is Fusion plus some yummy third party "flavoring" (no nic) and continue to experiment with mixing two Halo juices and cutting the mix with Fusion until I find that elusive sweet spot. So no more secrets Halo Nation. Let the tips begin.

I have purchased some Halo Fusion and have two bottles, one 30ml @ 12mg and one 10ml @ 6mg. Currently I have only been using it when 1) My tastebuds need a rest and I really don't want any flavor or 2) to cut some other liquids (Halo of course) that are at the higher nic level I use to vape and 3) as you stated to tone down some of the more prominent flavors that seem a little strong to me at any particular time.

Some of the newer flavors, Voodoo and Southern Classic are still melding in my "steep" drawer and until they come full circle I am leaving them alone for the time being.

I have in the past mixed a little of the Belgian Cocoa with the Torque56 to create my own version of the Prime 15 (when I was out of the original.)

Great tips :) I'm having a heck of a time trying to tone down Voodoo. It's part of my PM rotation and the darn grape/tart is just to much already. Like a big blast of it. I've tried cutting Voodoo with Fusion @ around 50% and even after this cut a few drops of Carmel Candy just isn't cutting it.

Any ideas would be great?

Try adding some of that 'red leaf' you got for free at the show. That stuff should wrap tobacco leafs around those grapes with ease.:|

LOL. I remember that guy. The Holster envy Vendor with his sidekick. Tried that juice but lets just say it was not to be liking.

I'm calling my new eJuice blend "Cinder Vegas Voodoo" or CVV for short. Why? Admiration and perhaps some additional brownie points. LOL

Voodoo is such a grown up and multi-layered juice I was freaked out because I didn't want to destroy it. So... a rough dropper mix of 75% Tribeca and 25% Voodoo hit the nail on the head. Both @ 12MG. What's really yummy and I DUE MEAN yummy is a strong lung hit/draw where the grape thing mysteriously springs to life in a subdued note form at the end. A cheek vape still produces a subdued grape note which is effectively moved to the background so to speak. I'm tweaking in a plastic tank so I can't wait to vape this yumminess in glass. OMG...another Halo order.

Well, that's y point, a few drops of that goop will wrap up that grape-y thing with ease.

Calm down Mike lol :) You can have some of my new CVV. I promise! So... I just filled my GLASS TANK with this yumminess aka CVV and WOW! In a glass tank it needs maybe 5-10% more Love in the form of a little more Voodoo. Yes I can taste the difference. Yes the lung hit has changed just slightly. Yes, I'm obsessive. Yes I increased the voltage. No big deal.

I'm glad someone posted about this. I was going to ask a question about it. I haven't been vaping long, and only have Halo juices...mostly because I like them and they are enough for me at the moment. The first time I vaped Kringle's Curse I thought I just about died and went to Heaven. That flavor is unbelievable! I can vape it all day. I'm currently vaping 6 mg, but I find that in the morning I will need a higher level of nic and in the evenings I'd want it lower, perhaps eventually cut down to vaping zero nic all the time.

Would it be advisable to pick up a zero nic bottle of Kringle's Curse and then use the Fusion to create different levels of nic in just this one flavor? What level of nic for the Fusion should I be looking at? I'd probably not want to make more than 5 to 7 mL at a time. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible, which is why I am not really looking into going DIY or branched out into trying other juices. Can anyone help and point in me in the right direction on how to accomplish this? Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

Welcome lavachic :) I never did very well in science when I was in school. LOl Some of this mixing is trial and error so please don't be afraid to create really bad mixtures. I've got plenty before I found the sweet spot. Next, your taste buds are changing and they change throughout the day. Your last meal. Your exercise level. What you ate. Hydrated or not. The lists goes on and on so I always try my little mixes throughout the day and never render a final decision for at least 6 days. Also juice does "cook" to a degree in the delivery device and by that I mean a plastic or glass tank. Juice also ages or steeps as some like to say just sitting in the bottle. The tanks architecture plays a role and by that I mean top single coil/wick or dual coil or bottom coil/head/wick can also play a role but for the present you will be fine if you isolate your experiments to a single brand of tank. In your case that's a Halo tank and I'm confident you will find the sweet spot.

So...for you I would continue the 6MG in the morning and if that's not a strong enough vape/hit then move to 12MG in the am or mix the two at around 50/50 (6MG and 12MG) and that's effectively a 9MG juice. Try them all for a few days and see how you like them and of course be carefull about a nic buzz which happened to yours truly when I vaped to much in the early part of my journey. LOL This would be the first thing on my list. Regarding the rest of the day and after dinner in particular. Your thoughts:

"Would it be advisable to pick up a zero nic bottle of Kringle's Curse and then use the Fusion to create different levels of nic in just this one flavor?..." The challenge with this is that you are diluting the taste of Kringles Curse with Fusion so you may not like the diluted version but it's definetly worth trying. This is certainly not a science but I would start with roughly 40% each of Kringles Curse at 6MG and 0MG and then spike drops roughly the other 20% with Fusion @ 6MG. Your idea may be better but it's your vape, your body, and your taste that matters. The key takeaway is to experiment and alow enough time before you decide what you like. Then when you find the sweet spot you get to mix up a 30ML bottle and give it your own name. Fun! Unfortunetly I don't vape Kringle's but hopefully my thoughts have helped you in some way.
