It was some time way back, about 3 weeks, that I got these two juices, back when I was mostly looking for a good tobacco flavor because I thought I missed cigarettes. Tribeca just never did much for me, and I was so excited for it because everyone ranted and raved about it, I just found the juice uninspired and bland (steeping didn't do much for it). RYO seemed to have a strong following, nice description, and great reviews...and that's where anything good ended for me. RYO just never did much for me, and neither flavor ever tasted like much to me.

I'm not here to slam these flavors, like I said there are tons of people who just love them, and I'm sure these just aren't for me. What I'm wondering is there is something these two juices might have in common that I might not be tasting/able to taste. I haven't tried any other RYO's, but M&P RY4v2 is wonderful (Tribeca being an RY4 I believe) so I don't believe it's the RYs. Also I like a good deal of Halo's tobacco flavors, and love M&P's tobacco selection.

I literally get nothing out of them, I feel cheated lol.

Halo Tribeca is much different from other RY4s. The Halo company makes their liquid in the Chinese model by employing a chemist to replicate the tobacco molecules (as I've read on here). This makes their liquids much more chemical tasting. I know people raved about it so I got a 6ml sample. Glad I did so I didn't waste too much of my money. Have you tried Vaperite VR4? It's pretty unique and quite delicious if you like natural tobacco with a creamy caramel and vanilla
