When I first go my Tribeca I was not overly excited by the vape. I let it sit (steep and shake) for two weeks after a 24 hour open jar evap period. It did improve and while it is not on the top of my list, it's not bad at all. I did not notice a "bad" smell from it when I first got it, and it is not as strong as a couple of bottles of other juice I have. Did you shake it well?

I'm an admitted Tribeca fanboy. I have 150ml of it sitting in front of me. It does have a scent when I uncap it. Personally, I think it smells good. But then again, as someone who smoked for 25 years, I'm not sure I'm the best judge of what smells good.

As far as steeping, I've never intentionally steeped this juice. To me, it pretty much tastes the same whether it comes straight out of the mail box or if it has sat on my desk for a couple of weeks.

It doesn't taste like any of the other RY4s I've tried up to this point. I don't get any hints of carmel or vanilla. It's a fairly unique flavor. To me, it tastes a bit like it smells. But, the flavor is slightly sweeter and a bit more mellow than the scent you get from the bottle.

Thank you for the response. No I didn't shake it yet. Just wanted to smell it. The smell is bad and I wish I can describe it but can't. The smell is powered that you can smell it when the bottle is closed. I guess what I will do is put the cap on, shake it, remove the cap for 24 hours and then just let it steep for 2weeks.

I guess I am disappointed because of the smell and I heard so many good reviews about this e liquid. Just curios, can anyone describe please what it should smell like ?

I've been buying Tribeca for 5 months. It's what got me off analogs. When it's fresh it will have a strong chemical odor. Remove the cap for two days and let it sit in a dark, cool place. I've also heard of accelerated steeping via a warm bath. I also use the dropper cap to move the liquid around. Squeeze the dropper full and release. Repeat this a few time and squish the liquid around with the dropper as well. After two days uncapped, cap it and shake the bottle vigorously daily. I fill a Vivi nova tank with Tribeca as soon as I get it and it seems to "cook" it while in the tank as I vape it. The goal is to evaporate the volatile molecules and marry the flavors. I prefer the Tribeca after 1 or 2 weeks as it gets sweeter but I do use it from day one. I love the smell after it has steeped but fresh it does smell perfumey or chemical like. Once steeped it smells like a vanilla, caramel desert to me. It's my absolute fave. Hope this helps.

Funny - my last order was Torque56 and Turkish. Right away I filled my AGI on my mech mod with the Torque56 and I am now down to 1/2 a bottle - geez that went fast!!!!

Put the Turkish in a ProTank and wasn't liking the taste (it had that chemically/perfumey taste) - it's been about two weeks and decided I had better lay off the Torque56 or it will be gone in a flash - filled the AGI with the Turkish and am loving it!!!

I looked at the labels and the Torque56 was fresher than the Turkish - so it shouldn't have been steeping time, just my tastebuds I guess!

Some juices just have an odor... I can't stand the smell of most caramel, maple and honey vapes.

Tribecca, prime 15 and torque have a bit of an odor... but that doesn't keep people from vaping them... they are good juices...

I really like the throat hit that Torque has... Torque is such a good liquid...
