I actually prefer the fresh Tribeca. It doesn't happen much , but when I do get a fresh batch it tastes amazing to me. Very sweet and caramel rich. It is sharper and brighter while the tobacco takes a back seat. It tastes much different when steeped and the tobacco and other flavors develop and blend together. Still good, but to me, fresh Tribeca is the ultimate RY4 taste.

I started out with Tribeca, and I absolutely loved it, so much so that I bought 2 large bottles as well, after my first incident of "oh crap, I'm using more of this than I thought I would!"

Got half way through one of those new, big bottles, and suddenly lost the taste for it.

Same thing happened with MBV Cinnamon Roll. Totally insane about it for weeks, then as if a light switch were hit, I just couldn't taste it. Now I keep a much larger selection of things to choose from, just in case, and good mixers, like a straight up chocolate juice, several different types of fruit, a few tobacco types, etc.

That's interesting, I keep reading how Tribeca has a very sweet and caramel flavor. I don't smell it and I definitely don't taste it. It has been the worst juice I ever smelled and tasted.

Does it taste like chicken soup? Not like homemade soup, but like that crap you get from the coffee machines in hospital waiting rooms? Mine did. There's, "ok, this needs to steep", and there's, "I'm gonna bury this in the backyard and hope no evil demons are released in the far future when archeologists discover the remains". I'm going with the latter on this one...

Never tried halo.Which is better Tribeca or Prime 15?

I'm pretty big on RY4 and Tobacco tastes, and both Tribeca and P15 are winners for me. No doubt, the longer they steep, the milder, smoother and delicious they become.

I find that loading them in tanks and letting them steep in there for several days speeds up the process of steeping. I've loaded a fresh bottle of each one and vaped them right away, taste like hell, and then try them again several days later, still from the same tank (about 5-7 days, the longer the better) and they taste absolutely awesome.

I am still only about 5 weeks into Vaping, and while I initially had doubts whether liquids should really be steeped or not (my impatience), I have no doubt that they need to be, particularly with Halo, to really appreciate Vaping and the premium price of these liquids.

As for the difference between the two it's not very complex, in my opinion, the Tribeca is sweet, somewhat caramelly/kettle corn tasting, while the P15 has a drier, slightly nuttier taste and closer to an authentic tobacco taste. Properly steeped, they are both absolutely awesome to me.

Neither of these, however, are my all day Vape for 2 main reasons (1) they are expensive and (2) you lose appreciation for the taste if you are vaping them all day as your sense of taste normalizes them. It's really nice to have them once in a while.

Hope that helps.

I know this thread is a few months old but I'm having the same problem lately with Tribeca. I really liked it at first and I've gone through a few bottles but the last one I bought doesn't taste or smell good to me. I also have a bottle of 0mg (I bought it for vaping in the evening) that I've had for a while and it's always tasted gross. I tried vaping some earlier today and it actually made me feel sick; I dumped out the clearo (about 1.5 ml worth) and gave it a good wash. I have both bottles steeping right now with caps off, hoping that soapy chemical taste/smell goes away.
