Although my favorite PV is the Triton system complete with their 2.4ml tanks, often while running around/work etc., I still prefer to use cartomizers for sheer convenience and shorter ecig. I have gone to the Halo LR cartomizers and am definitely pleased with the results. The LRs definitely provide a warmer/stronger vape, and while they should drain the battery a bit faster and the ejuice run out a bit faster, I haven't found it enough of a difference to worry about, and IMHO, the increased vaping pleasure is more than worth it. I don't have the G6, so can't comment on how they perform with the G6 battery, but I would expect a "larger" vape for a small form factor ecig. I really appreciate how Halo gives us a pretty wide range of solutions within their "ecosystem". Although I have no real issue with occasionally using some 3d party hardware, I prefer to stay with the Halo tanks/cartos/mini clearos, I have had consistent quality and performance from their gear.

How to the blank cartos work in comparison to the pre-filled? I've never had good luck filling cartos. After BLU, I bought a VEA system. The pre-filled cartos worked fine, but always had trouble re-filling them. Either too much and I got a mouthful of hot juice, or too little, and no vapor and burnt taste. I always ended up using BLU 100 cartos on the VEA, as VEA cartos were just too expensive for how long they lasted.
I'm preparing for a trip at the end of the month and am considering picking up some cartos to use with the small 650 mAh batteries as a quick hitter to use during layovers and in the planes' lavatory. I don't want to take filled tanks, as I have heard they may leak during pressurization and altitude changes, so will be taking empty tanks and e-juice.

The carts are pretty simple to fill.

-Pull the plug out of the end
-Layover on a 45 degree or so angle
- Drip fluid into it, rotating it while you drip it in to uniformly saturate the packing
-Go until it seems saturated, then let it sit
-Repeat the above steps again after sitting for 5 minutes or so
-Replace the top plug, then blow through the cart to make sure you get any liquid out of the center post

I love the LR cartos on my G6, almost more than the mini-tanks.

Thanks, I'll add some to my next order and give them a try. How do they compare to the pre-filled?

IMHO the LR cartomizers are a clear step above the standard cartomizers. Like I said, I don't have the G6, so others can opine better on that, but I do like using cartomizers on my Triton when on the run or at work. I am pretty spoiled by the Triton tanks and even the mini-tanks, and the standard cartomizers, while decent, just don't deliver as much vapor or flavor "punch". The LR cartomizers do come quite a bit closer. They will be my cartomizer of choice from now on.

As far as filling them? I know that sometimes finding that "sweet-spot" between having enough ejuice versus over-filling takes some tweaking, but really it shouldn't take that long to get the hang of it. Sometimes I use a blunt-tip syringe because it does a better job of getting the ejuice distributed throughout the polyfill better. Some folks swear by the condom-fill method, but frankly, I've never been much of a fan of that method. To me, its messier, you always waste some ejuice. I either simply drip from the top, or use the syringe. With the syringe, it is easier to measure out 1ml for the initial fill.
