Hello Everyone,
I am new to vaping and just purchased the Halo Triton starter kit. The end in mind is to quit smoking regular cigarettes and so far it has work. Haven't had one since I got the kit. 3 weeks.
My question is how to clean it. I watched a video on YouTube and followed the instructions. When I put the tank under hot water it became all cloudy and never cleared back up. I contacted Halo and they said I shouldn't clean it under water. They said use a Q-Tip.
Has anyone had this problem? Seems if I just use a Q-Tip It will still taste like the old liquid.

So how do I effectively clean this thing without ruining the tanks?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I've been using that style of tank for over a year and regularly rinse them with very hot tap water, with no cloudiness. I have also used vodka with no problem. Cloudiness of the polycarbonate tanks normally is caused by a liquid which is caustic to it, like certain fruit flavorings and cinnamon flavorings. I don't think any Halo liquids would cause this, but some flavors from other brands will. Certain types of cleaning fluids could cause this also I suppose.

I normally recommend using hot tapwater to clean these, heads and all, so I can't suggest a better way. Good luck with your next tank!

I don't think the juice was bad. It was Vape Ape black cherry. Looked fine when I dumped the excess. 2014-08-01 17.29.31.jpg

That's not from the flash. Its totally clouded. I thought it was condensation at first but it doesn't wipe out.

Haven't had any problems cleaning with hot water like everyone else so far, had the Triton about 2 weeks. Based on what I can find online, some people are getting away with running tank cracker juices through the Triton, others haven't. I'm not keen on risking it, ordered an EVOD 2 Glass setup last night to handle anything caustic.

It's not that the juice is bad, it's just that some juices contain ingredients that react with plastic tanks and you have to use those juices in glass tanks. Your tank looks EXACTLY like one of mine did when I put some banana bread in a plastic clearo. I would toss the clearo.
