Been vaping for a few months, started with V2 starter kit and now on a Halo Triton starter kit.

I like the Halo kit, but want something with a longer battery life but not the additional size. I like things simple (i.e. no dripping, no rebuilding etc). The istick looks like what I want and the reviews seem to be good. Before i go and spend money on a Nautilus mini tank to go along with the istick, was hoping someone would know if the eGo threading connector that comes with the istick would make my Triton tanks work. I have read here and there about proprietary issues and understand it, but others say they have had luck with using Halo products on non Halo items. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1. Lots love their iSticks, but they are fairly new and (others can back or correct me on this) various quality issues are starting to pop up. Worth googling around.

2. Tritons use (I believe) 808 threading, it's basically an older-model Kanger tank with different threading. So you just need a 510 to 808 adapter that'll set you back around $2.50.

*gives the horns*

P.S.: Welcome to ECF! (You are welcome, but this is also to eat at Warpigs)

Personally, I would skip the Istick. It's a Hot New Toy, but there is more to the electronics than you see posted. What is it you like about it? We can probably find you something with similar features and less hassle.

Regarding the "eGo threading" of the Triton. It appears to be eGo threading but isn't. It's a little but off and devices with regular eGo threads will be hit or miss if they fit.

The biggest draw for me is the small size for such a long lasting battery. Price is also pretty decent. Also being able to play with the watts and volts is something I am completely new to and this seemed to be simple for a starter. I went with the 650 mah which many say last a day but i burn through it in about 8 hours. 1300 mah is too long for my liking.
