Very new to vaping...it's my first week. Read a couple posts in different threads stating that there are cheaper coil replacement options for the Triton. Does anyone have experience with using different coils on the Triton? I'm not a complete cheap skate, but if there is something that works comparably for less money, I would be interested. Thanks!

Yes. Any Kanger T2 coil will work on the Halo Triton tank. Also a Kanger T2 tank will screw on and work on a Triton battery (but leaves a small 1/4" gap). That's the great thing about the T2...it works on both 808/ego and 510/ego batteries. My wife only uses T2s on her 510/ego passthru (for home) and her Triton batteries (for out and about). However, the Triton tank has proprietary threading, so it does not work on a 510/ego device.

Here is the cheapest place for replacement coils.

Never mind, found them...long wick = 70mm. Post looks shorter, has that been an issue at all? And how long do the t2 wicks usually last you in the triton tank? Thanks!

This depends on what type of liquid and how much you use.

My wife uses a dark tobacco liquid and goes thru about 4 mil per day...her coils last about 1 week, or about 25-30 mil. They are pretty well gunked beyond salvage at that point.

When I used T2s with unflavored liquid and approx 6 mil per day, I would go about 1 week or 40-45 mil, then clean and dry burn for another go around.
