Right now, for everyday vaping I have a Halo Triton ego, but I also have an adapter for my aerotank mini. I've heard that Halo tanks are basically just like Kanger t2 tanks. Does anyone know if I can get away with using t2 coils on a Triton tank? I've heard you can, and they're much cheaper than buying Halo coils.

According to @Completely Average who posted in this thread, the Halo Triton coils are identical to Kanger T2 long wick coils.

Yes, I've used many Kanger T2 long wick coils in my Triton when I still used it. I never bought Halo coils. Too expensive to buy them from Halo.

Yes, T2 heads are a perfect fit on a Triton tank.
Also, a Kanger T2 tank will actually work on a Titan battery. It will screw on and fire but leave a slight (1/4") gap. The Triton tank, however, will not work on a 510/ego battery. That is one good thing about the T2...it's kind of a universal tank, since it will work on both the 808/ego and 510/ego batteries.

halo also sells a Triton to Ego/510 adapter so you can use other tanks on it. Evods, T2's T3's, etc.
I have picked one of those up, and use my aerotank mini on my Triton batteries. Only problem with it is that it add about an extra 1" to the total length of the ego. Otherwise it's been great.
Yep they do add about 1 inch, but you get a spring loaded center pin
