Hi all,

I'm pretty new to this so please forgive me if I frustrate some with my question.

I am looking at purchasing the Halo Triton, looks a nice set. Has a great reputation with existing users (always nice to see).

I plan to get a few small glass bottom coil clearomizers for it but do you think finding one is easy? Perhaps it is for those who know brand codes and model numbers but for someone like me it is painfully confusing.

After visiting a ton of sites selling every type of clearomisers not a single clearomize says it is compatible with the Halo Triton. The more I research this the more confusing it is.

Can I ask the nice Halo community what exact brands and model bottom coil clearomisers are available for the Triton. Is the Triton and Spinner the same battery type with the same fittings?

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

The Smokeless Image T3 and T3 mini will work for sure as well as the Kanger T2. But the T2 is the same as the Triton tank anyway. Of course any 808D clearos will work as well. Beyond that you will need an adapter to use any other types. I have read mixed results when using an adapter. Some adapters work and some don't. As well as some delivery devices working and others not when using an adapter.

I bought some T2's from another vender, some screwed on and worked but not flush like the Halo tanks, others in the same pack did not even screw on. All worked on my Vamo so that's were they are being used. Leads me to believe the Halo tanks are for the Halo Triton batts.

If those T2's worked on your Vamo, that means they are Ego/510 threaded, not Kgo/Vgo/808 threaded.

Not certain why so many people have such a hard time understanding "proprietary" devices. Plenty of them out there. Heck, even these hot new Hybrids are proprietary devices, but folks don't have a problem shelling out hundreds of dollars for them to be "locked-into" a single unit.

Strange world.

Halo and Smokeless Image use the same vGo threading. Some eGo tanks may fit, but don't count on it; best to get an 808-to-eGo adapter.

Smokeless Image also offers an automatic version of their batteries, and not a lot of adapters work well with them, because the adapters have to have an air hole, so adapters are not usually recommended with them.

The Triton battery has two sets of threads. The top threads are smaller and are 808d-1. The lower threads (still near the top of the battery) are larger and are vgo threads (not to be confused with ego threads).

Halo's cartomizers and G6 mini tanks thread onto the smaller 808 threads; the Triton tanks thread onto the larger vgo threads.

There is one other clearomizer (in addition to the Smokeless Image clearomizer) that I know of that'll fit without an adapter - the Kanger T3S vgo bottom coil clearomizer. I've only seen it at EVCigarettes and haven't tried it.

I've used an 808 to ego adapter from EVCigarettes. It threads onto the smaller 808 threads, so the larger ones are still exposed. Looks ackward, but it works with ego and 510 threaded devices. It takes a little fiddeling at first.

Twist/spinner/vv batteries aren't the same as standard batteries. Look at the vv battery in Halo's website for a description.

IMHO the only thing Halo needs is glass tanks...then their line of Triton products will be complete. Their tanks and batteries are beyond superb. It all works wonderful together. Also, for 2.50 a piece you can buy replacement heads which IMO is a wonderful deal. I have bought many "starter" kits and so far Halo's has been the first starter kit that is worth mentioning.

I have now had the starter kit for little over 2 months and not a single issue. No leaking with the tanks, Batteries are still working wonderfully and holding a charge. Not to mention I now have 4 1300 batteries on top of the beginning two 650's. 1300's for home, 650's for when I am not home.

I ordered the Mini T3 BCCs from SI...they came in yesterday. FANTASTIC fit and hit...I love em. I wanted the minis for carrying to work...easier to conceal. I really like the bottom coils, though sometimes there seems to be a loss of flavor; not so with these! I'll stick with my big Triton tanks for non-work hours, but I highly recommend these for stealthers like me... :vapor:

Do the Triton tanks work on the Volts? Can the Volt battery charge with a Triton charger? They got a few more colors and a passthrough I wouldn't mind having, but I am not interested in having another "system" up and running.

*edit* I think I meant the X2, the volt is their cig-alike.

Yup I have two Triton tanks that I am using on my X2 batteries. Chargers I'm not sure about but if you get a pass thru X2 it comes with the USB cable and plugs into any wall adapter.
