Quit analogs and been vaping since 2012. I started with the Halo G6 cig-a-like and graduated to the Triton when it came out. Then I tried the VV Triton bat and haven't looked any further as it is all I need. (I did try the Triton II, but did not like the bottom fill or the wide metal mouth piece - feels like sucking on an exhaust pipe.) Much to my dismay, I recently found out they are discontinuing the original Triton line (through Chat with a Halo rep when I inquired when the VV bats would be back in stock). The timing is ironic BTW because I finally got organized and had just finished my DIY custom vape/charging station that can charge 4-6 bats at a time, accommodates 14 30mil flavors w/tanks and 5 charged bats- pretty nice if I do say so myself.
SO...here's my dilemna...what do I switch to after I exhaust my current stock of hardware? I have no desire to go box mod, build my own or go overly high tech,(a little techie is OK). It's got to be the same general shape and size, VV bat, good capacity on the tank -preferably top fill - but at least easy to fill on the fly and go, and have a drip tip that is not too wide. I'm looking for a quality brand that's consistent with affordable replaceable components. I really just want an 'easy-peasy' rig that's a no-brainer, and while I do like me some cloud, I'm no chaser.
Hey, I'm not asking for too much...am I? I just know I like what I'm used to and I dread the thought of the trial and error of change - not as much patience as I used to have. I know the Triton is an 808 and the standard is 510, so I can get adapters for transitioning, but any suggestions on what I can transition to??
Thanks for your feedback!

Halo has it's own forum, I am sure their members can guide you to something similar to keep you on the non-smoking path!
Halo
I still have my original Halo gear (Tritons as well). I now use the Eleaf Istick Pico and Ego One tanks. The tanks are being discontinued, not a lot of colors are available any more. If you are used to the Tritons, you will probably want to stick with a mouth to lung tank for a tighter draw, less airy. The Halo folks can give you some recommendations.

Here's the Pico: iStick Pico - Eleaf electronic cigarette
Here's an alternative to the Pico, same company just a different shape and a few less features: Eleaf iStick | Wide Range of Batteries @ Eleafworld
Both are very simple to use and do the job, so you won't be overwhelmed with the change. BUT they are not stick shape like the Halo Triton. I am female, small hands, and have NO problem with the I-stick or the Pico. But, like you, I was hesitant to try anything that looked different than the Triton I was used to. There's a lot out there, so look around a little. You have some time, since your current gear is still working fine.

GOOD LUCK -- don't let this be a setback!
I'm betting the Halo lovers can hook you right up! Check out that first link I gave you.

I've never used a Halo product but I don't think they manufacture their own hardware. To me that looks an awful lot like a re-branded specimen of your standard eGo pen and CE-4 style tank. You can pick those up literally everywhere, either un-branded or you can pay 3x as much for one with a company's logo silk-screened onto it like Halo but they probably all come from the same factory in China, regardless.

I started with one of those. Worked well enough to get me off of a Vuse cigalike. Those types of clearos are really dated and surpassed by newer products. Halo sells any number of other rebranded products bit you'll do better for the money to just buy a mod and tank yourself. Of course if you still want to keep using their juice you can, it will work fine in any modern system. I still love their Tribeca.

A good mtl setup can be had for not much money. Unless you're into building your own coils, which I highly don't you are, take a look at stuff like the Nautilus 2 or Triton mini which user Nauti coils that are great for mtl. There are more mtl tanks out these days than there were say a year ago so choices do exist. Check out the tootle puffer thread which is pretty much all mtl users as well as the tank section here that has threads on a variety of mtl tanks.

Don't worry you'll find a good fit.

Check out the vaporesso drizzle kit. It is very small and compact. The drizzle tank is the best mtl tank I have found. The battery is 1000 mAh and lasts a good while and the kit is cheap, usually around 25.00 or below. The kit is i am guessing around 4 inches tall when put together and I believe it is 18mm around. Hope that helps!

I totally agree with this. Halo Triton is just a rebranded eGo battery setup. Any large online vendor will sell brand name (Vision or Joytech) or generic eGo's and CE-4 clearomizers. Think My Vapor Store or Discount Vapors.

You could also look into Pod Mods. These are a relatively new category of e-cigarettes. Same size as an eGo. Uses a proprietary tank. Some require pre-filled pod replacements; others allow you to refill the pod yourself with your own choice of e-liquid. There's a sub-forum here on ECF: Vape Pod Systems

Thank's Eskie - Dated maybe, but it's what I want...Halo's other re-branded products right now just don't fit my bill, but maybe they'll launch a good substitute. And yes, you're right - not into building my own electronics - wood working, home DIY, even plumbing and other creative endeavors are more my thing - but anything electrical..., not so much. lol -correct again on the MTL so I'll check out your suggestions. Thanks!

Nanny22 - Not the size of the hands but the size of the purse...I usually carry a few different flavors...Thanks for the links- I'll check those out.

I know you're right on the re=branding thing, but some manufacturers are better than others...that's why I'm looking for a trusted source....safety first.

Pearlcrest ... I feel your pain!
I had been so happy with the Triton ... tried the Triton II and hate it!
Please let me know if you found a replacement that you are happy with and share with me.
Thanks!

Will do. I was lucky enough to catch some extra batteries in stock, so I will have to find compatible tanks and thread adapter after a while. I also have a supply of coils so for now, I’m just skating along with my stockpile. :)

Anything on this page will fit the tanks you already have:
Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette | myvaporstore

I have been out of the clearo market for a few years now so I am not sure what is available and what they still make heads for. I used to use the SMOK ARO's and really liked them, but not sure if they are still available. If you can find them, they will also work with any battery on the above mentioned page.

Unfortunately the Triton uses a proprietary threading (custom made for Halo, Kanger T2).
Thought they sold an adapter tho.
