We need to know what batteries they are. If they are the same as the triton I but different thread, then they are likely 510 thread, not 808 thread like Triton. In that case, yes, you need different chargers, 510 threaded chargers.

However, you can find these in the USA, too. But you will pay more.

Well if they screw into the triton charger, then they are also 808 threaded. So no need to buy the 510 chargers I linked to.

Question: some of the batteries I have are voltage control. Do I need some other charger for them? They were given to me by a former Halo user.

These older Halo Triton stuff is NOT 510. It is Halo's version of Ego. The difference is the height of the center conductor.
A halo triton charger works on their basic batteries as well as the Variable Volt model.
I'm not sure if the thinner G6 charger is compatible, although I think it would fit with the threads.

I remember that on Halo's website, they confused the name of these items. The 1x1 block that plugs into 110AC and has a usb port is an adapter (not a charger).
