I am thinking about purchasing a E-Cig but before I jump the gun I have a few questions. From everything I have read Halo Ecigs seem to be my best bet. At first I was pondering on buying a G6 then I read that with cartomizers you cannot tell when they are about to go empty to me that would be a big inconvenience. So now I am on the Halo Triton due to it having a Clearomizer or a tank system, but I am wondering how long will the coils or wicks last before I buy replacements? How easy are the wicks to burn. And does the battery size change the amount of juice used?

*Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it but for now it was the only forum I could post in.

Halo is a good company with good products but...

Be aware that Halo Triton batteries are 808/ego threaded while most of the rest of the industry is 510/ego threaded. This will somewhat limit your ability to explore all of the devices that are on the market.

Also the Triton tank is really just a Kanger T2 with slightly different threads. A Kanger T2 will fit on a Triton battery and work just fine...but it does leave a slight gap. Any T2 replacement head will fit the Triton tank.

That being said, I used Halo and similar Smokeless Image for well over 6 months and my wife used them for 1 1/2 years.

I guess I didn't really answer you questions.

How ling the wick and coil lasts really depends on what juice you use and how much you use. I use unflavored or light fruit flavors and about 6 mil per day. My coils (1.8ohms) last about 1 week, but can be easily cleaned and dry burned for another go.

My wife use a dark tobacco juice and about 4 mil per day. She can also get about 1 week, but her wicks and coil are so gunked that they are much harder to clean...but I try. Sometimes I just have to give up on cleaning hers.

It's not the size of the battery that determines how much juice you use. It's the combination of volts and ohms (or watts). If you use the lower ohm coils or get the variable voltage batter and crank up the volts, you will use a little more juice (thicker clouds).

Thanks for clearing that up Grimwald. I heard the coils outlast the wicks by a large margin but I've heard of people burning wicks out in 1 day all the way up to a month. I just want to be able to vape with my first kit and not have to worry about buying a bunch of spare parts.
