Hey guys i'm new around here and I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about the Halo triton VV or when the halo site is going to release it? I found that Nevapor.com sells the variable voltage model of the triton and that they are an actual reseller on their facebook page. I guess what i'm wondering is how a reseller has the product available when the company themselves hasn't released and if anybody HAS purchased this model will it vary at all from the one that halo does launch? thanks and nice to meet everyone. -Mike

Let me tell you what I did...I was waiting on that one as well. I particularly wanted the rainbow colored one.

Lo and behold, Altsmoke has a self-branded ego spinner in rainbow! I picked that up with some evod tanks and for less than the Halo kit, although I didn't need any juice. Nice thing is, is that I'm not stuck using the proprietary fittings and can put anything with an ego or 510 threading on mine.

So there you go!

Edited to add: I didn't realize that a reseller is selling them now...that's just weird. I'm guessing Halo might not be aware of the pre-release selling?

Seems weird to me as well.

Hi Mike. Are you the gentleman who came in an bought the Triton Twist the other day? I believe we also exchanged emails on this. I was doing a Google search when this popped up so thought I'd say hello.

We have no idea why Halo hasn't put these on their website. We have had access to the Triton Twist and Passthrough since the day they launched the Triton series. We love them and moreso, love having the support of an American company. As an authorized resellers, Halo exercises impeccable customer care which we then transfer to our own retail and online customers. I was pretty thrilled at the compatibility between Triton and G6 b like several new Triton owners, made the initial error of combing my demo Triton with my G6 charger. NOT A GOOD IDEA!! My partner and I blew out out new batteries in two days. DOH! I agree with some of the discussion on other threads that Halo should add something to clearly differentiate the chargers, perhaps offering the Triton with a short cord. I actually found a compatible charger with a cord for my *replacement* Triton. Same input and output, same threading. Different look so I don't accidentally mis-charge and short circuit another battery.

Anyway. We are planning to reorder next week because we have been selling through our Halo line; a big part of that is our belief in the products. It shows. The fact that I always have a G6 in arm's reach, Im sure has nothing to do with it. Ha!

We hope to see you soon! Maybe this weekend's Branford Fest? We will be taking what we have left of our Triton batteries with us. The blue and red colors are rather patriotic! Combined with a 808 thread Redux and a blue or red tip on an adverse colored battery and VOILA! = red, white & blue. The Triton Tank Red is a bit too pink for this but the blue one works. I wish they had different color tips for these. Maybe in the future??

Ayup. I'm a girl. We like colors! :D
