Halp! Can't get my VP2 to work, no power when atty is screwed on...

Nothing works when I screw on the atomizer to my VP2

Without the atomizer , it lights up, when the button is depressed. But as soon as I screw the atty on, and depress the button, no lights, no power...

I cleaned all the threads on both the VP2 and the atty w/rubbing alcohol, still nothing. Seems to be something with the connections, since you can press the button without the atty attached and it lights up.

Battery is fully charged 4.2v, atty is brand new. I even tried other working atty's, and the same thing happens.

NOTE: this isn't the first time it's done this, and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol seemed to solve it. Doesn't seem to be the solution this time.

Anyone else experience this?

any ideas would be so appreciated right now.

Could be an issue with connectivity between the internal battery and the contact points, I'd recommend ordering another battery for your pv, theyre cheap for 510's, I think a joye battery is only 12 bucks from RMV and they'll ship it same day that you order it. Then while waiting for your new bat, clean your contact points on the batter again, sometimes my chuck has bad contact with the batteries and if I give it a little bang against the table it will work just fine. I know they are COMPLETELY different, but what do you have to lose? Maybe it might work for you too? Plus worst case scenario, if you cant get it to work, you'll at least have your new batt in your hands within a few days. :D

Thanks! Battery is good, 4.2v, but I'll try cleaning the batt. contacts, see what that does.......It works! You were right!! I unscrewed it next to where the switch and cleaned those connections, noticed it was kinda loose, tightened it cleaned all connections on VP2 and batt, Voila!!

"THANK YOU!!" Bo
