Got goods coming from Asia/China?

Are they late already?

Might want to look into the debacle with han jin shipping company.

Supposedly there's $14 billion in goods sitting off shore waiting. They don't want to dock for fear the goods will be seized and held for payment owed.

Radio is reporting they tried to get bailed out and Chinese government refused.

The word bankruptcy keeps being thrown around.

Hope nobody here is affected.

Though I suspect that's a fat chance.

Sooo... here's your PSA.

The airline says the funds will be provided as soon as "the necessary procedure is completed", without elaborating further.

Hope that's soon.

They're still reporting ships off the coast waiting on the radio. ETA: (Dunno if that's dated info.)

I just glaze over through the details.

I just know they're big. Real big.

Radio still reporting ships docked at sea off coasts of many countries.

I would have expected with so much of our user base buying out of china... at least someone crossing fingers for an incoming load.

This is the 7th largest container ship logistics company globally.

Somebody's gear IS stuck at sea right now.

most recent reports are suggesting hanjin may be disassembled.

radio news is saying that although some ships are being emptied, they will likely be removed from service by either being sold or scrapped

No word on where the remaining ships are waiting outside of which countries and or how many are remaining waiting full
