I kno this differs from a mech by vv/vw and having a consistent vape due to it being regulated but what's the difference between vaping .3 - .5 ohms with a fresh battery on a mech and vaping .8 - 1.2 ohms at 22 - 30 watts on the hana mod? Is it just as much vapor, heat, etc.? Been curious about this for awhile and can't seem to find a straight answer. 3-5 ohms on an unregulated mech mod?

I'm a bit wondrous of those numbers myself.

Your comparison doesn't make a lot of sense, Dominos. Perhaps you've misplaced, or left out some decimal points?
Why on earth would you be using 3-5Ω resistance on a unregulated mech? It's certainly not an optimal utilization of available current a mech mod can provide.
That high a resistance would be better suited on a regulated, high-performance APV where you can boost wattage output electronically.

Resistances of 1.3Ω and lower are best suited for a unregulated mech... where you can take advantage of the potential current draw that most (although that's changing) APVs have limits below.

One difference is personal preference.

Some people think a tube looks nicer than a box and it is better to look good than feel good.

Some people say low ohms at 3.7 volts is better and some say 1.5 ohms at 5 volts is better.

You need to see what YOU like.

Some days I like to look good, a Stingray with a nice patina, and some days I like to feel good, an MVP, and some days I want both, Provari. When I started vaping I thought I would never need more than 12 watts and now I am thinking about a Hana.
