Hana mods DNA 40

Got my HM dna 40 today and got it all set up. Threw on a magma with a .16 ohm build and it's vaping great. I am amazed at the temp protection and how easy and worry free it makes things. Did about 11 wraps ni200 28ga. I find myself vaping at a lower wattage. The magma is also a great RDA Im still finding my sweet spot between 1-2mm air hole single coil mode! If this won't keep me away from analogs. I don't think anything will!

Good Luck on your journey to being tobacco-free.. The DNA 40 is the beginning of a new chapter in vaping for certain. You have a top-quality mod.. Throw some motivation behind it, and you'll be golden.

I built up the kayfun lite tonight on the DNA 40. 28ga NI200 @ 10 wraps .16 Ohm. I've been playing with the temp and watt settings. So far I find 13.5W and 480 temp is giving me the best flavor. Not as much flavor as the Magma RDA. But thats 2 different worlds.

While building the kayfun the DNA 40 would kick in/out of TEMP mode. Plus I noticed the Ohms would jump up. I noticed the screws weren't tight enough and that sorted out the issue.

check your screws after you fire the coil a few times they will often loosen up a tad.

Perhaps you folks can answer this for me. I keep hearing people say that their Hana DNA40 has a spring loaded 510 pin. I've yet to actually see evidence of this and I would think that such an improvement would be announced somewhere. So, does anyone actually have one with an adjustable 510 pin?

Mine looks different the the old style press in 510 connector I have seen on other Hana's, but it is not spring loaded at all. In fact it sucks so bad the threads barely catch most atty's and some just fall right in and never thread that I am sending it into them to have it replaced.
