Hana v3 Clone Ohm Wrong

Hey,

I just received my hana v3 clone from an ebay purchase. One thing I am noticing is the ohm reading is low. its actually.2ohms lower than my itaste mvp. I know all clones are not perfect but have others with clones experienced this? Or is this just normal stuff? for example a 1.8 ohm coil in a aspire BDC reads 1.9 on my mvp and 1.7 on the hana v3 clone? Normal no? Did I get a bad batch? I am worried now if I build a .5 ohm coil it will read .03 and not fire? wish it was higher not lower!

from a .5 to a .03 is a big difference... I would be worried

Ohm man, Ohm my gosh. Sorry couldn't resist (a 3rd pun). I really am sorry.
You got a dud. Wasn't Hana the one suing cloners for using their name? If they are I can't blame them. Maybe you can return the unit if it was paypal'ed.

They did sue. Guess that's why there are no markings on this one

Got my Hana clone in the mail today, and notice that mine reads .01 to .02 higher than the same coil on my Vamo. Not a huge deal as long as you're aware of it when setting your power.

Are you happy with it otherwise? I'm thinking about getting a regulated mod.

One of the vendors that was selling them addressed this problem on a youtube video. It was nearly the exact same as what you described. Aspire nautilus ran at 1.7 ohms on a ohm meter and at 1.5 on the clone. I'm sure there is a certain margin of error on each device. Perhaps you can pull out a nice multimeter and see which device is actually more accurate.

Thanks that was my next step. have a Nautilus too. it is reading 1.5

i heard this was an issue on the prototype clones, but then it was supposedly fixed on the later batches...maybe you got one of the first ones made?

the canas dont even read .xx they read .x, and so far mines been right on

THANKS! I think ur right I got an earlier release. Its a deal breaker for me. I also notice sometimes when the screen is off I have to click 2 or three times before it will fire up. Not a huge deal but everything else is OK. I still think if you get one with the correct ohms being read its worth it! I will be returning this one
