If I buy one of these what would be the best battery to use?

I want the best battery life possible for under $20.

I'm just confused why some batteries of the same mAh are so much more expensive.

I can get two of these 3600mAh Rechargeable Li-ion batteries for only $4.22
$4.22 UltraFire 18650 3.7V "3600mAh" Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (2-Pack) - tested capacity 1000mAh at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

But then I can only get one of these 3400mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries for $18.12
$18.12 WOLF-EYES LRB-168A 18650 3.7V 3400mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Battery - over-charge / over-discharge / short circuit protection at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    No you can't
I've gotten the DNA 30 from fastech awhile back that came with the purple Efest 2500 mah 35A battery compared to my Sony V4 there's a big difference. Sony last long and less of a lag when I hit the fire button, I also notice the Efest charge quicker so I'll presume they don't fully charge like my Sony V4's. I'm very happy with the Sony V4. When you get them get at lest two. I paid $9.95 each.

Neither of the batteries you've referenced from FT are worth a sh..
You do not use Protected or ICR batteries for vaping.
FT does sell some good batteries, but with all of the restrictions on shipping them I would not recommend buying from them or any other source based in China.

Orbtronic is a good U.S. source for batteries and chargers. Xtar chargers seem to be the better option.

Do i need to buy a charger to go with it? Doesn't clone come with a usb cord you plug directly into the mod to charge the battery that's already inside it?
Or are you saying it might just be a good idea so to have your second battery charging on a port while you are using the mod?

Thanks. What do you think about the Samsung INR18650-25R from myvaporstore?

I don't know how to tell if the battery is protected or not.

Or maybe it would be worth it to pay the extra few bucks and get the Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh

The Samsungs from MVS are the same batteries that inswva linked to in the fifth reply - for about $4 less. The 25r or 22r are good batteries.

Having a backup battery and charger is wise. According to battery university, it's best to not disturb the charging cycle of these batteries. It prolongs life span. Put it on the charger and leave it alone until its fully charged. I got an Xtar mp1s single bay charger from Orbtronic for $10. High quality for low price. I ordered a battery from them at the same time and they gave me a 2 battery storage box. A nice charger, battery and battery box with shipping for about $20.

The battery in the pic is from different vendor.

You need to determine how you plan to use it. I have 2 DNA30's. I use the purple Efest 35A in both at the moment but I sometimes pop a Panasonic 3400 in as well. I use both of them at 11.5watts using 1.6ohm coils in my kayfuns. For that, the Panasonic 3400 works just fine. If you plan to do some sub-ohming then I would look at the efests instead or a sony vtc4 or 5. I once ordered batteries from Fasttech to see how long it would take. Took over 5 weeks to get to me. I will only buy them from US vendors now.

I just charge mine in the mod (VTC5), though it doesn't see heavy use as part of my rotation.
