"Handed over to customs" is this a normal part of shipping to the US?

Here is the status of my order placed on the 20th of Feb.

2010-02-27 08:32:00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA USSFOA Handed over to Customs

Anyone else in the States, is this a normal part of the tracking process or did Customs claim it and I am screwed out of my order?

I have about $80 worth of product invested on this.

I have ordered several times from HC and every time it says handed over to customs. The fun part is each time the same day that the tracking shows released from customs it has always arrived the same day. So please do not panic if it seems it has not been released for a couple days, that is normal.
