Since i have seen a lot of newbies sign up (me included) in just the last week, I was curious as to how many of us have overdone the vaping. I know i did. For the first few days i could not put that thing down. Can't remember who said it but they nailed when they said "this thing is glued to my lips".
I had one particular moment of concern xmas day. Mid afternoon, hadn't had dinner yet, but had a few beers then switched to the coffee and baileys, maybe it was baileys and coffee ... who knows ;). Anyway, i was on the couch, vaping away, i suddenly felt like i'd taken a big ol hit of something that is illegal to smoke. I just slid further down into the couch closed my eyes and just sat/lay there for around 20 minutes. When i felt capable i got up, grabbed a bottle of water and took the dogs outside for some fresh air.

Since then i have been trying to exert some level of self control. I'm not saying i haven't overdone it since then but not to that extent and i am definitely getting better at moderating just how much and how often i vape.

Anyone else had something similar ??

Yep, the first 2 days I was a walking chimney LOL! And then a nasty headache set in and taught me my lesson.

I thought the headaches were from the nicotine and maybe they are but last night I vaped pure VG (I'm running out of liquid and trying to save as much as I can til my shipment gets here) and got a HUGE headache again! I know I was inhaling hard trying to get a flavor so maybe it was the extra super sucking that gave me the headache lol. Who knows.

I'm vaping 24mg now and I was only ever an ultra-light analog smoker, and not even that many per day. With vaping, the nic tolerance seems to increase all the time from my experience. It's way more of an issue than with analogs.

I used to get really woozy on 18mg when first starting out and now I go at 24mg all day long without any negative symptoms or bad headaches.

I do think the headaches are caused by too much nicotine relative to tolerance though, more than anything. But once your tolerance is high, it becomes much more uncommon.

Superstack I believe it is correct that your tolerance for nic increases which is exactly what I dont want to happen to me so thats why I want to keep reducing my nic. I have this fear that at some point we may not be able to get nic easily in the future and I do NOT want to go back to smoking analogs so before the laws kick in.

i personally think Im still over doing it but ive only been vaping for about a week.

I'm just a newbie but, If you don't have a headache, feel sick or anything else abnormal then i'd guess you're doing ok.

I'm at the end of day 5 of smoking ecigs and i think i'm really starting to get a handle on this.
I'm using 18mg juice, taking 3 to 4 drags about every 20 to 30 minutes. This seems to work pretty good with my 901. This seems to give the carts a chance to wick more juice to the atomizer without it ever really drying out. I put in a fresh battery when i get up (6 - 7am) then i'll be changing batts at around 3ish. The 2nd one has been lasting most of the rest of the day. May have to use 3rd batt to see the last hour or two of the day out.

When I overdid it, I got jittery and felt my heart pounding.

Gabby, i haven't gotten too jitteryyet, if anything it's been the opposite, almost like being stoned (i'm guessing how that feels of course ) but it's almost like i can feel my pulse in my head, if that makes sense. I just have to sit back for a while and take some deep breaths and it levels off pretty quick. Then go put away that 901 somewhere for a while.
