My happiness of the day is that I was able to adopt an underweight, underloved, angel of an English mastiff from a rescue yesterday. This is 2 1/2 year old Lexi with my son Dave.
Oh wow, Rave! That's awesome. What a beautiful dog! And I'm not a dog person, LOL! I love animal rescue shelters, and the people who adopt from them
Oooh Rave- you are so lucky, and so is Lexi!!! what a beautiful dog. That she found a home is my happiness for the day

my happiness, today, is not being sick. i had a horrible GI bug yesterday and when not in the r.room all i did was lay around and read the ecf. ok, the reading part wasn't bad lol

Aww, Dande, glad you're feeling better. I have GI symptoms chronically, so I can sure empathize!
thank you catmom, it was horrible but i'm thankful and surprised that i'm bouncing back so quick! i just can't afford to be down heh

I work in payroll for a food processing company. We have about 4000 employees (after a merger), we do payroll for about half but will be doing it for all of them starting in April.

So true, Dandelionwings! Even though I'm having a heck of a time typing this because one of those animals whose lives I've changed is rubbingt her head against my hands and trying to chew my fingers! LOL
Lol I so understand---we have a zoo and I swear, we should charge admission just to help cover thir food bill!
Tell me about it! I have a picture of all seven of my cats eating at the same time, and I labeled it "feeding time at the zoo." I believe if we're going to have them we should feed them the healthiest diet possible, and that means NOT feeding them the cheap stuff, and even though I buy in bulk, sometimes I think we're going to have to mortgage our house to keep them fed!
