LOL! I remember how awesome it was when we bought our Atari! My brother and I would play that thing for hours! Then our friends would come over and we would have tournaments! Ah the memories...

Pong, Centipede and my all time favorite- asteroids! I would love to just play that game again. They should make a version for the PS3. lol

By the way, anyone recall having to sometimes blow into the cartridge before you pressed it into the console to get it to work properly?

OMG yes! And later no matter how many times you blew in that darn cartridge, it still acted up! LMAO!

Pitfall, River Raid and Riddle of the Sphinx. I LOVED my Atari and a few years ago picked up an old model. It is sitting a few feet from me right now :)

Oh wow, I remembered all the others that had been mentioned but had completely forgotten about River Raid and Riddle of the Sphinx. Great games though. Does anyone remember ET? I had that game but never figured it out. I remember walking around...picking up Reese's...yeah that was about it. Or what about Yar's Revenge? That was another favorite.

Hmmm, I might have to look for Ataris on Ebay now.

I will beat anyone here in COMBAT! I am the tank master!!!!

It is on now, but you must meet my 8 bit challenge of space invaders and river raid....For those that are in the young'n crew, if you own a psp and if it is jail broke to play home brew games, there is a psp atari collection, complete with the music we loved to listen to at that time, and contains all of the original sound effects for any one game

I cannot believe i am now......ummm.....older....where does the time go?

I remember Pong, I still remember my Vic 20 and comadore 64 too, yeah I'm OLD. My favorite atari game was Circus.... guess I've always had a sick sense of humor, I remember the whole family laughing like crazy when that little stick figure clown would splat when you didn't catch him on the springboard. Poor little guy splatted at the bottom of the tv screen (a tv that used tubes) with his little legs still wiggling...... ahhh the memories.... wish I could go back and invest in atari, ibm, apple LOL
