Hmmm.... well, being how April 20th is Adolf Hitler's birthday, the anniversary of the Columbine shootings, as well as synonymous with smoking pot for some reason, I'm not sure if it's appropriate to celebrate this "holiday" here with this community.

I personally don't have a problem if you want to celebrate 420 for whatever reason, but I'm just not sure how well the rest of the community will receive it.

No offense, just lookin' out ;)

I'm a hippie at heart even though my only paraphernalia now is a 510:)

Melissa I will wish YOU a Happy 420!!(if you could explain why this date holds importance to you....by pm if necessary!):)The Wiz!

She said it's because she's a hippie at heart, which is what I had assumed it was. Of course, I don't think any respectable member of this community would celebrate it for either of the other 2 reasons I listed in my first post, however my concern was directed at the possible sensitivity of people who have reason to greatly dislike this particular date for those other 2 reasons.

It was a bit nitpicky on my part - not trying to throw a rain on the parade, just hoping no one takes the reason for celebrating the wrong way.
