To my fellow vapers

I appreciate all your support in helping me begin my smokeless journey. It may sound a but corny but I really feel as if I'm starting a new life. I'm heading out to a family party and I've vouched that today will be my last day of smoking. I plan to continue vaping and quit the nasty habit. And even if I do end up smoking I'll be looking at it only as a set back because I won't accept failure. I'll be going at this until the habit is gone for good. Wish me luck! Any tips, suggestions, or support is greatly appreciated.

Happy Independance day, Enjoy!!

Here and There
Hi Jerry,
hope your party was fun and you're still excited to quit the cigs.
Don't be too hard on yourself. It's almost two years for me .. I
gave up 2+ packs Capris/day. I vaped and smoked in the beginning,
then one day I forgot to smoke. Then I hit a crisis .. my juices
tasted nasty for weeks .. and I'd have a cig here and there until
my taste buds were normal again. All that happened in the first
three months or so. I hardly ever think about cigs and only when
I walk by someone standing outside a store ... puffing a cig. It
smells terrible to me now, but I understand the need :p But am
sooooo glad I'm done with it. Best of luck to you!!!!

Keep up the great attitude and you'll do fine! :)

Maybe think of it as not so much quitting smoking but replacing it with vaping ("I don't smoke anymore, I vape now"). Then your brain won't go into deprivation mode, and you won't be dreaming about dancing cancer sticks. The missing analogs won't become an obsession, and you'll start to want them less and less. Also, think of vaping as a loophole to smoking: "hey, I can't smoke anymore because [fill in the blank], but I can vape now! Woohoo!"

Couple of important things are to find the gear that works for you, and to find your go-to flavor(s). Once you do that, you're golden! 30-day money-back guarantees on hardware help with this, but if you're not happy with the gear you're using, try something else - you have a lot of options! And keep an open mind with flavors. Ya just never know what's gonna hit the spot for you til you try it, and who knew that blueberry cheesecake could be a viable substitute for Virginia Slims Menthols? ME!

It also helps to know what to expect, so here ya go: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/3305-list-symptoms-when-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

Stay strong!
