I am new to vaping and ordered the KR808d-1 from MyVaporStore.com. The site gives so much information that my husband and I felt all our questions were answered. I've placed 2 orders on the site and have to say that I am truly impressed with the speed with which they fill orders. It's amazing. My last small order was received in 24 hours! That's unheard of! After smoking a pack a day for 40 years it only took me 3 days to totally give up the analogs and our doctor is very pleased. I've recommended the site to several people and I know one of them just placed an order for 2 Ultimate Starter Kits. I am very happy recommending good products and great service!!

Welcome to ECF Janet H! Congrats on your success. :toast:

I love my kr808's too. Easy to use and maintain. :)

I love my KR808's too, but my initial battery died and it was only 4 weeks old. I emailed the company I got them from and was told they only last 3-5 weeks and that getting liquid is the usual reason for a shorter life. Wow. I thought the batteries would last longer than that!

Please don't be discouraged. There are lots of options, and most of us don't use the first kit we started with, or for that matter, even use "kits". Unlike grabbing a pack of smokes at the convenience store and just making sure you have a lighter, vaping has a huge learning curve. It can be frustrating, but it is definitely worth the effort. My second kit was a plain old Ego, and that was my main PV for about 6 months.

They should last a lot longer. If you can stand it, the next battery you get, make it manual. You'd have to press a button, but the vendor can't use the "juice got in" excuse. Also, if you use an automatic batt, remove the atomizer/caromizer and blow through the battery, leave it drying and see if you can revive it.

Thank you. No problems so far and its been a month.

I don't think it'll so much be problems. I think you'll just find that while the 2 hour battery life isn't a showstopper, 8 hour battery life would be amazing! Then you'll see that while you're loving the 8 hour battery life, you've read a lot about something called LR and how it gives you more flavor and throat hit. So then you're enjoying this, but not the amount of heat that comes off of it. So you've read about variable voltage and how you can adjust the amount of vapor and throat hit. That's the route I've taken so far, and what I think x-smok3 was talking about ;)

Thanks for the info, but mine are manuals. Should have mentioned that. Thought I'd have more control with the button. Maybe this is a fluke? I'm thinking of going with the eGo which my husband has. Battery lasts a lot longer.

This can really get involved and my husband loves that part of it. I just want a simple reliable one and don't want to have to take a whole box of "stuff" with me. It's interesting to see what other people are doing though and who knows, it's only been a month for me - I may end up taking the longer route afterall.

Thanks for the encouragement. It's been a month with no analogs!

How long do your kr808's last before they just stop working for you? Since they need frequent charging I have about 6 manual ones. One stopped working after 4 weeks and 2 have some strange charging activity with the lights going green too soon or not going out etc.

eGos are good, 6 - 12 hours of vaping. If you're a light vapor, could last all day or more. I started out on mini batts, got tired of charging marathon. Now, it's once or twice a day and I chain vape. Keep in mind, the longer lasting a batt, the bigger it is. eGo 650, Riva 750 mAh batts are pretty good sized. See if the size agrees with you too. :)
