Well, thanks again for all the B-day wishes.
TO be totally honest, the B-day itself has kinda sucked. I was supposed to get together with Steve (of V4L) to party, but I wound up geting sick earlier, during dinner with my engineer pal (It was a case of too many toasts too quickly; they toast each other with 6oz glasses of beer (or tiny thimble size shots of an ungodly powerful rice liquor that tastes like sweat. Ball sweat.) and try to slam them down faster than the other guy. As the foreigner, I get toasted by EVERYONE, everytime, anyway; this time they knew it was my birthday. Nuff said. ), and had to cancel on Steve. I felt really bad about canceling on him, because I know he doesn't have any good friends here, but when I projectile vomit, my night's over. But I've offered to get together with him tomorrow, so hopefully that will work out.
Anyway, don't feel bad for my bad night tonight, it may be the calendar date, but I'm not hung up on technicalities like that.

I had a good pre-B-day party with another friend over the weekend, plus did some shopping, and my real B-day celebration is next weekend, when I will be going to Shanghai and finally seeing some of the REAL China.
