My new girl arrived today, she is sporting a Lewis Gentry (Pinnacle) Cocobolo
drip tip, I think it goes really well with the Jatoba wood. Her name is Brigid for
she is indeed a Goddess!

I was really amazed when I unwrapped her, pictures just don't do the wood justice. The feel is warm & wonderful, now I understand why the Woodvil's disappear so quickly. She has a gloss, is that polyurethane or wax? What should I use on her to keep her healthy? I think I would cry if she got a scratch or ding. Being a new mother is fraught with worries

If it is glossy then poly. The natural are not super shiny/glossy.
SunShield | Howard Products

Howard's SunShield is what I use. Both inside and out. It has UV protection. Wipe with a damp cloth to keep it clean. Buff to shine.
