I've been using the e-Power 14650 for a couple of weeks and I love it. Based on what I've been reading about the switch issues on the larger battery model, I'm glad I went with the smaller one.

Now I want to try the high drain, IMR type batteries. Does anyone know where I can buy AW 14650 batteries? AW brand is important as they were he only good reviews I saw.

I love my Epower 14650 also and haven't had the slightest problem with it.

As far as the high-drain batteries, I don't think AW makes a 14650 hi-drain but I could be wrong. I haven't found one anywhere. You can get a 14500 aw high drain but they are alittle smaller.
You can also get a 14670 aw IMR hi-drain battery. They are the same size as the 14650 battery. Check out Super T manufacturing. The 14670 high drain 1100mah and costs $11.99. I'd say that's prob the best one. I haven't tried one yet but I heard they work no problem in an Epower.

The only 2 ecig vendors I have found that sell 14650 hi-drains are electronicstix.com and avidvaper.com.
If your going to get one of them, I'd get the ones from electronicstix.com. I think they are a better battery then the avidvaper ones. They cost $8.99 each.

I think the best ones are def the 14670 battery from super T manufacturing. Their alittle more expensive but also have a higher mah. The AW IMR high-drain batteries are known to be great batteries for ecigs and alot of people use them in their mods

There are at least two of us in the past couple of weeks who got bad E-Power ecigs and they were 14650's. Maybe this means that it's only the recently produced units that are flawed? When did you buy your E-Power?

I have no issues with mine which I received four days ago, and I'm waiting for another order which is a barebone plus high drains and some accessories. That would complete my e-cig arsenal, I hope.

Searching for high drains for my vv box mod and e-power led me to this site. They're not AW, though. I don't really care at this point.

I would consider a better High-Drain. Those are the same ones AvidVaper carries.
