Happy New Year!!!!!! I am putting this in the body of text so it will get noticed quicker.
My husband is battling liver failure from a medication rig-a-mor-role. They weren't sure he even had a chance of survival,yesterday and last night. I'm ready to pack up my puppy and we're going to find some Calgon, by george!!! I am battling a horrendous cold and now I can't go into ICU. But, I can call and find out how he is doing, and if there is a problem, mother-in-law is staying up there until I feel somewhat better. It started last night in the huge waiting area for ICU and CCU, so I know I didn't get it there. We just got over a bad sinus problem AND a stomach bug that we both had at the same time. My poor mother-in-law is beside herself. However, Praise God for her!
I need prayer desperately......for all of us! Thank you so very much!

Husband is now in a room!!! At least he was talking like himself tonight. I was shocked to hear he was relocated, but am so grateful that he is. I guess he was listed as 'critical' in ICU, but okay now......still can't go up there as I've been running fever. I told him everything that has been going on with him and he sounded downright shocked. Apparently, people with liver failure become belligerent. I know nothing about livers, except I like mine deep fried. (Bad joke, but kinda funny......my ill attempt at humor.) I got an antibiotic refilled today, so hopefully I'll get through tomorrow without fever. What a time for me to get sick, but the Lord knows what He's doing.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that prayer works......but then we know that, don't we!;-)

That's good news but I'll continue to pray for your family. The liver is the most forgiving of all our organs. It heals well and often completley. The Drs and nurses do the work but the healing has to come from Jesus. Let's be sure to thank him often.
