Just order a Satin Provari Mini with Blue LED for my boyfriend. I can tell this is only the beginning of the Provari love affair in our household. Are there any tricks or tips that I should pass on to him? He has many mods but this will be his first Provari. Provape is running a coupon code from today until July 5th, saved me $9.00. Code is happy4
I also picked him up a satin reactor tank from Nhaler, and tip from Super T. They will look great together.
Now how can I get a Provari with pink LED? Lol

Congratulations! I think you'll quickly discover that one of the (many) beauties of the device is there are no tips or tricks. That's simply because none are required. It's so good that you only need to slap whatever you like onto it, then vape.

I have no idea whether or not it's The Best, because those arguments are silly to me. I do know this much though, it is absolutely awesome. In every way.

Enjoy it!!!

I know for a fact he is going to love it. My wife bought me one about 2 months ago for quitting smoking. Like everyone else says. The pictures don't do it justice. Once you put it in your hand, you know its a quality piece. I have the extension cap and use the 18650 bats which easily gives me an entire day of vaping. Hell, I vape from 9am until 2 in the morning and by low battery indicator doesn't even start to flash. I have no complaints whatsoever.

There are a few things about the ProVari that are good to do on occasion for maintenance. Take a tissue and clean off the top of the inner threads and connector post as well as putting a little Noalax on the end cap threads. If you don't have Noalax (available at most hardware stores) you can also use Mineral Oil.

The 18350 used with the Mini will last 2-3 hours and the 18490 will last 3-4 hours if you are using 1.5 Dual Coils.

That is very nice gift Menthall and I'm sure he'll love it. I have my reservations about the Mini only because it is built around the 18350 and 18490 batteries. Unlike the 18650, these batteries will never be improved upon...that is to say there will never be a newer version with a higher mAh rating. The 18650 AW IMRs recently received such an upgrade from 1600 mAh to 2000 mAh for added performance time. I vape about 4 mls a day and only get 6 hours of vape time from a 18650 2000 mAh using a standard fare 1.5 Dual Coil in a tank.

I can't remember what company sell them, but there is a company that sells "Skinz" a vinyl applique and if I remember correctly they had them with some pink designs. These are made specifically for the ProVari with a cut out for the LED window and button.

In any case, the ProVari is an excellent APV and Provape is an exceptional company.

@Snow...Do you think it's okay to use rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol on the battery contact inside of the device? The reason I ask is because I notice that the post gets a little dirty/gummy looking everyonce in a while. It seems like cleaning it with at least 99% alcohol improves battery life.

Also, where did you get your 2000mah high drain IMR's?

Not really a trick...more like a handy suggestion should your boyfriend decide to carry The Provari with him daily.

I've had a habit of laying my pv down, so my biggest concern was dropping, losing or misplacing my Provari. Before buying it, I decided I would just use it at home. After it arrived in the mail I changed my mind. It's rare indeed that I put it down. But I recognized immediately that I would need some kind of case for it.

Stumbled across a flashlight holder that's proven to be ideal for the hefty Provari.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001EC3JME

Clipped to my belt, it not only securely grips my pv, but serves as a constant reminder not to leave it anywhere. What's more it has a locking rotating clip to position my pv for comfort or accessibility.

There is one downside to this holster. It's open at the bottom, lending itself to the probability of my Provari slipping out. I remedied this potential problem by securing one of my daughter's hair bands. Stretched that sucker across the bottom opening just enough to prevent slippage, and super-glued it in place.

Then I did MY happy Provari dance!
