I really like my 510 stash. I have a USB passthru, 10 batteries and atomizers (of which 4 are still boxed of each) and I get a very good experience out of these.

I have been reading latley a bit about the mods .. higher voltages, bigger batteries...

My question is this: will upping the voltage somehow make it better than it is? A huge battery will make it better perhaps? I already get a great hit, vapor and have not smoked a regular cig since mid November.

I'm probably enjoying my 510 experience just as much as you are. I never purchased any more than my original 510 kit that came with the two batts, but I have since purchased additional attys and empty carts.

I've found that on a busy day of vaping I would go through a regular 510 batt every 2 hours or so and with only 2 batts and a PCC I would have to make sure I had one charging all the time (while at the casino for example) otherwise I'd be screwed. So I looked into the NicoStick mod discussed extensively down in the Battery Mod section and discovered how easy and inexpensive it was. So I built one and it was the best thing I could have done.

Using the 14500 rechargeable batts I now average 8-9 hours before I have to change one out. The vapes are much more consistent too! You can see my version of the NicoStick in that Battery Mod section (510 NicoStick with LED). It was very easy to build, the parts are cheap and readily available. So if you know how to solder, you can build one yourself and I think you'll be very happy with it. By the way, the 14500 batts are 3.7 volts which is the same as your original 510 batts.

So if you are happy with your 510 as it is and just want a battery to last a lot longer, consider the NicoStick mod and you won't be disappointed.

Just trying to help.
