I don't know if it's me or what, but my ce4 seems to be getting harder to draw from and left me very unsatisfied on the way to work this morning. It 3 days old, what the dealy?
Not that I can tell. I can take the clearomizer off and it has zero resistance. If I loosen it up on the ego it gets better, but at that point it doesn't make contact with the battery.

If it worked fine to start then got this way, and taking it off of the battery increases air flow, it sounds like the side hole on the 510 threading might be a bit clogged. Try taking a needle and cleaning them out. Otherwise some people drill out their holes to make them slightly larger....very slightly.
I would check on the air hole as number one. Have you tried swapping out your atomizer/delivery device and see if you have the same experience with a fresh one? Since you can't dismantle a CE4 atomizer the way you can with a CE-5 or other models to look for things that could gunk up the system (aside form the air hole) trying one that you know is drawing fine will let you know if its the atomizer or your vaping habit has changed or the problem is elsewhere. Depending on how, how often and what you vape, however often you clean or wipe down threads etc you can gunk in almost any PV set up set up in less then a day so 3 days would not be exceptional
I also have a CE4 (stardust) that has the same problem. Trouble with these is that you can't get to the air holes. They are 510 threaded but have an ego skirt built on them.
My suggestion would be to wash it well with very hot water. Just hold it under a stream of very hot water threaded end up. I have used this method with other clearos and it has worked very well.
I thought about doing that to mine but have so many other juice delivery devices going at the moment it just isn't necessary right now.
Just got back from trying it again. I think it was just the effects of it being my first vape of the day. Perhaps I thought it was going to be as satisfying as a stinky, it wasn't. During my lunch break it was ok, might have to up the nicotine level during working hours though.
I only get about 4-5 days with a CE4 before they start to clog up. If I use high VG juice, they are shot in 3-4 days. I just chuck them every 4-5 days and use a new one. Never had any luck cleaning them.
I alway need a hgh mgs of nic in the AM when I first wake up - many do as the nic level in the blood drops overnight. You may find though thatthat does not hold over once you up and about and can go lower throughout the day even if only taking the usual breaks at work. My first vape in the morning is always 24mg while the rest of the day I was fine i=on 18mg.
