I've been using the same 4 cartomizer(s) for about 2 weeks now and I switch off when I'm out of juice. I have a KR808D-1 model. Lately, it's getting harder to pull. When I take a drag I usually got to pull a lot harder than usual. I was wondering, is it the juice, maybe the wick that's making it hard? or should I just clean it? I plan on buying new cartos anyway, but as of now wanted an idea if there's anyway of saving the cartos or just toss them away?

I used 510 thread cartos, but I find that 100% pg or 70pg/30vg works fine. If I use a high vg juice, then the filler tends to swell and close the air tube. Try using a jumbo paper clip with one leg straightened to open up the air tube. Insert it and hold it against the tube and rotate the carto several times to expand the air tube. That should restore the air flow.

If the juice soaks into the filler slowly, either the carto is packed too tight or the juice is too thick. When the top of the filler is white, it should accept juice and soak in within 3 or 4 seconds.

You can also take a paper clip, straighten it out. Insert the paper clip in the center hole in the 510 connector and use it to clean out the gunk that builds up. You can get a little extra life outta them.

Thank you- this helped a bit for me. Started grabbing some black charred stuff. Had my carto just about a week. I suspect this is a standard life span.
